Well the hotel we stayed in, Red Roof Inn was a joke. Room was not safe. There was a large homeless population. Every turn we saw homeless people. The beaches were nice. There was plenty to do and places on beach had plenty of stuff to rent such as chairs, umbrellas and so forth. They charge to park on the road by the beaches. You have to have an app on your phone or call an 800 number and give card info to pay. All in all its ok. We did discover that on the other end of the island you can rent beach front houses for the same or less than the hotel's rent for.

Not a good site to find all that is on Galveston Island.
While looking around on this site from what I could find All are paid for listings and not all businesses that are available on the Island.
Why would a site representing Galveston Island not have all listings of businesses on it's site
instead of only paid for listings on it's site?

I can not say how happy I am to have found Galveston Shuttle. Not only do they have reasonable prices they have carseats. We were booked with another shuttle service that went out of business and gave me very little notice. Therefore, I had to go and find someone else. I sent a quote request to Galveston Shuttle & they were very quit with their response. We are looking forward to our trip very soon. Thank you Galveston Shuttle for saving me/us. :)
