We specialize in automotive, residential, commercial, smart alarms, access control, video surveillance and safe security services.
An automotive key generation can very significantly vehicle to vehicle. Knowing the year make and model is the most important piece of information. Other information we like to know is whether one key worked the whole car or not. Typically there are four types/parts of automotive keys that we generate: (1) mechanical, (2) VATS, (3) High Security and (4) Transponders.
A transponder key has a chip or rfid (radio frequency identification transmitter) tag in the head of the key. This chip has a code programmed into it that must be programmed into your vehicle in order for the vehicle to start. This is an additional security feature to just the metal mechanical portion of the key.
Do you have a high security key? A.K.A. laser keys, or sidewinder keys? Keep reading and we will help you find out and tell you what we know. High security keys were developed to restrict duplication, and becuase they are harder to pick and break. They also look cooler! The easiest way to identify a high security key is that the cuts or grooves are on the face of the key versuse the edge of the key like you house key.
Working with vehicles everyday, sometimes the keys will not program because there are other automotive related problems interfering that need to be taken care of first. Charm was a lifesaver! After no luck with a really wonky front door, they got me in by picking two more locks on a side door -in the rain- and didn’t charge me for the extra work. They swiftly came to the rescue in a moment of panic. I was blown away by their generosity:’) Charm, the lock fairy! 🧚♀️ I’m sure I’ll get locked out again and will definitely be calling them!

And before they add their link for google recording…I have an apple recording. I was NEVER told there was a cancellation fee, nor was I informed about miles. Courts really like liars who think the other didn’t record…got to love one party states…
I called for a replacement key, was quoted for a dealer lock with key fob. They came with a valet style key and informed me it was $75 for service, $140 for miles (34 miles each way) and $160 for the key. I said Cancel as the dealer would tow and give two key fobs for $425. They then said oh, we will give you a fob key if you give us the valet
