Pain in your body can really wear you down. Sometimes it's from an injury that everybody else thinks you should have healed from by now. Many times it shows up with no identifiable cause, and can feel really frustrating and scary. After trying to ignore the pain for a while, you decided you need to get help.

Maybe you have spent a lot of money and time going to doctors and other practitioners. You've gotten your hopes up time and again, only to be disappointed by the results, or worse, been told there is nothing that can be done, or that your pain is "all in your head." Maybe you've been told heavy pain medications are your only option, but you don't like the way they make you feel.

Hi! I'm Judi Nelson, and I am so glad you've made your way to my website. Since you've made it this far, you've probably noticed that Balanced Physical Therapy is not your "normal" Physical Therapy practice. This is definitely a reflection of the owner. I never quite fit in in physical therapy school.
You were injured many months or even years ago, you've tried numerous doctors, drugs and therapies, but nothing has given you long lasting relief or a return of your quality of life. Your pain just started one day without any specific cause you can remember. Since then is has gotten progressively worse, and now you aren't able to do things you used to do.
Understand and feel how the interconnectedness of your body can make a problem in one area cause pain in another area, and what to do with this information. Understand the cycle of trauma and how a trauma not attended to can cause pain months or even years later, and how to deal with those traumas in the present.
Do you want to find exercise that helps you love your body and makes life easier and more fun? You remember what it was to be a little kid, just moving your body and exploring how it worked because it was fun? The things you would discover by pretending to be an animal or a plane, or just spinning around and dancing?
Many people who suffer from chronic pain have histories of trauma and abuse. Myofascial Release is wonderful for helping relieve the physical pain, and often helps you get in touch with how these traumatic experiences are still affecting your body. Much of the time people are able to release the emotional component of their pain with out needing additional mental health care.

I have three herniated vertebraes in my back and almost constant sciatica pain and within three visits of this person I spent the next nine or 10 months without pain in my body at all. I started with one treatment followed by another treatment in the next month and saw her a third time three or four months afterwards and was able to experience life without constant pain for the first time in 15+ years. I have seen multiple physical therapists and chiropractic people over the duration of my last 15 years of life and this is the first person/company that I have come across that has any redeemable
