This is the absolute worst home care company. No health plan, service provider, medical group or individual should use them. My son is literally stuck at LLUMC because they refuse to deliver the prescribed at home equipment required for discharge that they have received a referral for. They have gone against HMO regulation and put the member in the middle of their mess instead of doing their job. A formal complaint to the DMHC will follow. This company should be closed down. One star because I had to for posting.

Extremely disappointed about the billing process. My insurance rejected the billing because I had a different network. S&G knew about this in August. I was billed the low rate for 3 months although S &G knew I needed to pay a higher rate. I wasn’t told about the insurance rejection until November. I had 4 months of back pay at the regular rate to pay. Poor customer service all around, trying to contact and get this straightened out took a month.

Impossible to reach anyone in this 😰company an if you ran out of supplies or an emergency s&g does not pickup the phone an when they deliver supplies are not the correct ones or the right amount.If you need a medical bed there beds are vintage an look horrible.An if you need equipment it will only. Be new the first time after that is used an even tho you get a new referral for a new equipment after the first time they will not give out new ones anymore.they do not do routine 😰maintenance on their equipment.I. can notnot recommend this company .I will switch vendors Asp.😰

I am disheartened this company is still in business and that others have to suffer them.
My unfortunate experience started when I needed an eta for the delivery of several items(the home oxygen compressor was the critical component) from SG, in order for my father to be discharged from the hospital.
Everything that needed to be done for him at the hospital was completed, so we were waiting for SG.
Once I as able to get someone on the line, the dispatcher was unable to get a hold of the driver, which caused us to be stuck in the hospital for several hours.
When the driver arrived at my parents

I have to strictly limit the number of attempts I make to contact this company, since the difficulty of trying to interact always raises my blood pressure. Their phone tree has NEVER put me in direct contact with a program or finance staff person, no matter what day or time of day I call. (BTW: To the person whose previous review suggested that only people who write negative reviews show up on Yelp and the company is a good one with satisfied customers: that's utter nonsense. The phone system guarantees that contact is made on their terms only). For example, I have a billing problem

I'm still waiting for my order of my aunt 79 years old hospital bed ..no phone calls , no explanation whatsoever ..Calling the office several time a day..no respond ..one of the most horrible customer service I ever experienced..I suggest to close the warehouse and give your company business to someone else who can really handle it ..

Called this morning to get assistance with medical equipment that delivered to my home by SG Homecare and the lady who answered the phone was extremely rude, disrespectful, and not helpful at ALL! Whoever does the training at this office needs to walk whoever I spoke with morning back through common decency, patience with someone who obviously is clueless with the equipment delivered, and a have a willingness to assist. I normally don't write these reviews but felt so disrespected that I had to let it be known. Deeply sadden and disheartened by the treatment I experienced today.

Whenever I am expecting my resupply order from SG Homecare they never reach out, I always have to call to see what’s happening with my delivery. They don’t seem to keep an inventory of supplies. I think they place an order for what I need from their supplier just days before I should be receiving it. I will run out of supplies in four days from now and they can’t tell me when I can expect my delivery. This model of just-in-time delivery of diabetic supplies is not good for the patient/consumer. It creates an unbelievable amount of unnecessary stress. The one and only reason I do business

I wouldn't even give them one star. They don't know what speedy delivery is. I can't get my respiratory supplies from them in less than 14 days, more often longer. And so far, in the 7 months since my health care switched to them, they have failed at least twice, if not more often, to submit my order for approval. They should have a thumbs down icon up as well.
