Services
Roadsafe LLC was established by three partners - Malcolm Ray, Chuck Plaxico and Christine Carrigan - in 2010 to provide roadside and highway safety software development design and research services. Roadsafe LLC re-organised in 2021 when Malcolm Ray retired, leaving the business in the capable hands of the remaining two partners.
You will have the opportunity to participate in national research on highway safety; participate in the development of guidelines for use by highway designers when improving our nation's highways; and be part of all facets of document development including research, analysis, programming and reporting.
RoadSafe LLC provides highway, roadside, and traffic safety expert consulting services in the specific areas listed below. Expand any section to learn more about the service. Please inquire to Christine E. Carrigan, P.E., PhD about these services. Risk analysis determines if roadside hardware increases or decreases the risk of a fatal or serious injury for the range of roadside design alternatives considered.
We are a Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) service provider serving Maine and New England. Our NDT field services include ultrasonic weld inspection, ultrasonic thickness testing (UTT), straight beam ultrasonic testing (UT) for pins, bolts, plates and raw products, and Magnetic Particle Testing. We also provide inspections and testing for wood utility poles and timber structures.
App based technology can be used for the collection of roadside hardware inspection data. Roadsafe has experience developing apps for the inspection of these types of assets. This site presents apps that are designed to assess the extent of damage to W-beam guardrail systems as well as apps that are designed to track the inventory and status of guardrail end treatments.
