Andy Mudd, President - Andy Mudd grew up working construction for local custom builders after school, on weekends and during summer break.
So it was no surprise when, after graduating from Frostburg State University, Andy went to work for Ryan Homes-one of the nation's top production homebuilders-as a site superintendent. Andy later moved to Caruso homes. After about a year in the field at Caruso, he quickly moved up the ladder to become Purchasing Manager where he contracted all trade labor and material products for Caruso's new homes.

Southernwood did a great job installing 2 new doors at our home ! The work crew was great and left the Place cleaner than when they arrived ! All aspects of the job from start to finish went smoothly. I will be seeking their services for a new roof in the near future

I have been using Southernwood’s services since January 2021. They installed siding on my entire home and repaired my roof due to storm damage. They did such an amazing job, I had them install two sliding glass doors. Their services don’t disappoint! I will, definitely, utilize their services for any future job!!! Nick D was fantastic to work with. I only have positive words for him. He answered all my questions and walked me thru the entire process from start to finish. He even helped me reached out to my insurance agent and was able to get more money to help cover the entire cost of my roof. I would recommend Southernwood and would look to use them on future projects.

Recently I had my roof done by Southernwood Roofing & Siding LLC and would give it a 5 Star rating. Ralph Hancock’s customer service skills is what sold me on SR&S LLC. He took the time to tell me, if selected, what Southernwood offers in its installation of my new roof. All other companies just took pictures of my roof, walked away, and sent there proposals. Ralph took his time, provided sample roof shingles, and answered all my questions. All in all, we were very pleased with the preparations, the work, and clean up!

Southernwood were prompt in addressing my needs to repair the roof of my newly bought house. Ralph came out to inspect and provided detailed advice on the severity of the leaks and different solutions to solve it prior to replacing the roof. The day of repair the team sought my opinion on what I wanted to do regarding issues with the roof. They definitely sought to address my needs personally!

This is truly one company that stands behinds it’s work and reputation
Our home had a roof installed almost 5 years prior that developed a leak
I contacted Southernwood and explained my situation
MD law requires a 1-year warranty but Southernwood extends their warranty to 5… years for their customers and our roof was 4 years and 50 weeks old
Andy immediately sent a team out to review the problem but also had repairs completed (believe it was chalking and reattachment of the shingles)
