Quite honestly, words cannot really describe the respect, appreciation and gratefulness that I have for Amy as a person and physical therapist. I would without a doubt and will continue to recommend Amy to anyone that is in need of a physical therapist and/or specialized physical therapy. I was impressed with Amy from day one!

Services
Dr. Amy Robinson's patients often state that they have never had any other practitioner take such a thorough history review or evaluate them utilizing such a holistic approach. They voice that they are happy she searches for the root cause of their pain or dysfunction. Patients also commonly thank her for being approachable, respectful, easy to talk to, and for making them feel comfortable during their therapy sessions.
We are very interested in and listen to your past dysfunctions/injuries as they are often linked to your current dysfunction/injury. You will participate in a 50-75 minute initial evaluation (time is dependent upon the complexity of your case) that allows for an adequate history review, thorough evaluation, and initiation of treatment during your first visit.
A huge shout out to Amy for helping me over a physical and mental hurdle that I have been trying to overcome now for over four years. From a biking incident and not knowing where to turn I am super happy that I was able to find Amy and very thankful for how well educated and trained she was on the male pelvic floor and body.
There is a growing field of medicine devoted to evaluating and treating the unique needs of women. Many of the conditions afflicting women can be embarrassing to talk about, but we can assure you that many of these conditions are treatable, if not always curable. Each woman is unique. It is critical that an individualized evaluation be performed by a skilled women's health physical therapist (WHPT).
Women often suffer silently for years with pelvic pain before they seek help from their medical providers due to embarrassment and shame. Unfortunately, women often spend several years seeking help from multiple medical providers prior to receiving a diagnosis. Once they have received a proper diagnosis, it is often just the beginning of a long journey to find the treatment that works for their particular set of symptoms.

Julia and Amy are amazing, compassionate, and professional pelvic floor PTs who truly strive to restore your core in every possible way. The trainings and specializations they have make them an elite team able to help your body and soul heal, not just strengthen muscles. I started working with Julia at 6 months postpartum after months of urinary incontinence, pelvic floor tightness and pain, and learned to relax my pelvic floor in a way I never knew was possible. Within 3 months I was nearly completely pain free after much breathing, muscle release and scar massage. We added exercises to stay relaxed

I cannot express in words my deep appreciation for Julia and the Restore Your Core team. I gave birth in January 2020 (just before the pandemic). Leading up to the birth, I was given all kinds of advice from just about everyone around me, but the advice about strengthening my body to prepare for birth from Julia was truly beneficial. Then, when my birthing situation did not go according to plan and ended in a c-section, Julia SAVED MY LIFE. You see, no one tells you about the painful healing process that includes scar tissue. Julia helped relieve that burning rock-solid feeling near my stitches

Amy is the BEST. I would highly recommend her if you are looking for physical therapy to restore your pelvic floor. She does an amazing job at educating you and helping you feel comfortable with the therapy. I can't say enough about her respectful care. I only wish I had been educated by Amy 10 years ago.

After seeing Dr. Amy for several months to help with issues regarding pain, I was finally able to have my first pain free annual gynecological exam. Her wholistic approach is excellent, and you are able to take exercises she teaches you and apply them at home (or at the doctor’s office). She not only looks at the pelvic floor but takes into concern your entire body and health. She taught me more about myself than I had ever known or realized. Amy is also very respectful and understanding in sensitive issues that pain can cause in your life and marriage. Highly recommend Dr. Amy and Restore Your

I am so happy to have worked with Jules Powden. Being a physical therapist myself, I was fortunate enough to know Jules before needing therapy. I learned a lot about pelvic floor health after a presentation she put on during a runners' club meeting. It opened my eyes to the importance of my pelvic floor health after child birth and returning to running and working out. Once I found out I was pregnant I reached out to Jules to let her know that I wanted to work with her and she kept in touch with me throughout my pregnancy and postpartum until my first visit with her. She made me feel comfortable

What a wonderful thing to find Julia and Amy. I walked in with considerable pain, not knowing if I could be helped.
I was immediately put at ease, both by the therapist and the welcoming surroundings.
After just one session, I was so much better. Two months later I was like a new person.
As for negative comments, there are none. I could sit here all night and not think of any.
I hope I never have pain like this again, but at least I know where to find help.

Amy was exceptional to work with. I had some issues after giving birth and was recommended to see a Pelvic Floor PT. I am so grateful to have found Amy! She made me comfortable immediately and is a very gifted, professional therapist. She uses each session to maximize your time and give you the most help possible. I was also grateful that she educated me on moving smarter in my body, so that I can build back my strength naturally with my daily activities. I highly recommend her. I will miss going to PT because she was so lovely to work with.

I was so impressed with Amy Robinson's work at Restore Your Core PT! She took the time to get to know me and helped me develop a customized plan of action to work through some issues I was experiencing after giving birth to my second child. She provided lots of education and guidance throughout the process and helped me understand the underlying causes behind what was going on. She was always very punctual and personable and I highly recommend this practice to anyone in need of core PT!
