Caring for over 500 patients a month, we are a family practice providing quality care in a variety of ways. The Strong Mind Program is an outpatient mental health treatment program for persons ages 55 and older. Kiowa District Healthcare Radiology is staffed with Registered Technologists accredited through the American Registry of Radiological Technologists & licensed by the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts.
The Strong Mind Program is an outpatient Behavioral health treatment program for persons ages 55 and older. Our counseling sessions are led by qualified Clinical Licensed counselors on a daily basis. We provide transportation to participating clients within 50 miles radius from Kiowa. Our program is covered by Medicare.
No matter what kind of medical emergency you are experiencing, choose Kiowa District Hospital for comprehensive emergency care. Our Emergency Department is located on the east side of our building. When you enter the doors please pick up the telephone and you will be connected with the nurse's station to alert the nursing staff of your arrival.
Kiowa District Hospital Laboratory is a CLIA certified Hospital Laboratory with state of the art equipment and a wide testing menu. We are very proud of the KDH lab and its crew as they have run a deficiency free lab for the past 13 years. The Laboratory aids the Physician in the diagnosis and treatment of disease by providing accurate and precise clinical information.
Kiowa District Healthcare offers onsite Physical Therapy services on an outpatient and inpatient basis. We offer individualized care plans designed to suit each patient's specific goals, and will provide the highest level of skilled care in our region. We are staffed with a full time Physical Therapist, Lana Smith, PT, and Physical Therapist Assistant, Brooke Molz, PTA.
