I think my AC was installed in 1983 and was hanging on by a prayer. Called Peterson at Idsland Air and had my new unit installed. My new ac unit and wifi thermostat was installed quickly along with instructions on how to maintain it. Island Air's prices are great compared to other companies that did estimated for me. Thank you Peterson.

Pete and his team were AMAZING. When he came out for the initial estimate, he had done his homework on what unit fit our house best. He brought options of brands, prices, and what was included. For someone who does not know much about BTUs, SEER, tonnage of units, Pete explained in easy to understand terms, what it all meant.
After getting another estimate from another provider, we selected Island Air because I felt like I could trust Pete and that he had been honest with pricing and wasn't trying to sell me on something I didn't need.

I took the day off waiting for Pete to show up. He didn't bother to tell me he was not coming until I asked when he would be here! On the day of the install, Pete bailed claiming there's a job holding him up. He cancelled a two day job at the last second after confirmation of availability 12 hours earlier... Avoid and look elsewhere. We're forced to spend more time without A/C while we scheduled another installer, and take additional days off. Every single other American Standard dealer in the area had better planning, personnel, and knowledge of the systems they were selling. Pete is a good salesman

Top quality all the way. Had them help keep our old system alive and later replace everything including duct work. They do the work right. No cutting corners. They don't try to sell you anything you don't need, and prices are very competitive. They are also on top of the industry and know what is coming next to make sure they don't sell you anything that will cost you more down the road.
I will not go anywhere else for service. I'dthem 6 stars if I could.
