Upper cervical care gets to the root of the problem, which is an imbalance in the nervous system, and corrects that so the body can correctly heal. It isn't about pain relief, although that is a good side-effect; it is about restoring communication between your brain and body and allowing your body to make the correction.
I see neck and back pain frequently in practice with successful results. The primary focus in my practice is on restoring proper communication between your brain and your body. The doorway between your brain and body is the Atlas or C1. This is your first bone in your neck. If it is out of place it can cause dysfunction all throughout the spine, not just the neck.
I work with a lot of children in my practice. They bring cheer and a positive attitude to the office. One of the most common reasons I work with youth is for bedwetting treatment. This can be such a devastating and stressful thing for both the children and their parents. It is also not just youth that wet the bed.

I am beyond grateful for Balanced Chiro. I suffer from Meniere's Disease and with that comes dizziness and just an offish feeling. Not to many understand this disease! Since coming here and getting upper cervical adjustments, I have been able to live pretty much dizzy free and have normal days, being able to do the fun things I like to do and # 1 being able to be a mom to my 5 yr old. My daughter suffered from migraines terribly. She had a migraine 3 weeks out of 4, and the only way she would get relief was when we went into the ER so that she could get an injection of Tordol. Dr. Jensen is knowledgeable and relatable. He teaches you about what he is an expert in, and he isn’t afraid to tell you if he isn’t sure about something. The staff is friendly and professional, office is nice and clean. I have been going since November and my migraines have decreased in number and severity. Dr. Jensen is the best chiropractor! He genuinely cares about you and wants to do anything he can to help. I suffer from vertigo and saw other chiropractors but he is the only one who actually helped me find relief. He didn’t just help with pain but found the source. The Blair technique is unique and is rare to find a chiropractor who uses it. With this technique your body can heal itself with some guidance. I strongly believe in it! I suffered from debilitating migraines for YEARS. I had a migraine more often than not and my parents and I did everything we could think of. I am in town for a convention and my neck went out this morning. I was dizzy, naseus, lost my balance and had nystagmus. Dr Jensen came in on his day off to treat me. He used information from my chiropractor in Los Angeles to align with my usual treatment plan. His screening and adjustment was excellent and I walked out of his office a fully functional person again.

Dr Jeff Jensen and his staff is amazing. My family has seen Chiro's since my grandfather and up through my children. You will find that the best medical care is Chiropractic. Dr Jensen is one of the top Chiro's in the state of Utah. I'm now in SoCal and wishing he was here. No need for back surgery or other pain and health issues since a Chiropractor can correct the problem or keep it from becoming one.
