Glenn Caton owns and operates Computer Fixx in Wilmington NC. He has over twelve years experience as a computer technician and holds many industry certifications. He has repaired thousands of computers and enjoys providing solutions. As someone who runs a small local business himself, he understands the importance of providing people with excellent customer service.
If you don't want to bring your computer to our shop, and you don't want our technicians to go to your home or office, we can remote into your computer to resolve your computer issues. Keep in mind not all computer issues can be addressed this way, and you must have high-speed Internet access and be able to get online in order to get remote help.
We remove a lot of computer viruses and 80% of the time it isn't necessary to reinstall your operating system to get rid of them! We charge a $100.00 flat rate for computer virus removal and tune-up. We recommend that our customers have a paid anti-virus installed. If you do not want a paid anti-virus we will install a free version for you.
We can repair all of these issues and much more. We also know that sometimes a laptop is not worth fixing and needs to be replaced. We can advise you on whether or not you should repair, upgrade, or replace your existing PC. And if you need us to, we can save all of your data from the old computer and transfer it onto the new laptop for you.
Whether your desktop computer won't power on, or you hear beeping noises or if you're getting error messages, Computer Fixx can diagnose and fix these problems and much more. Depending on your particular desktop, we can increase the RAM to improve computer performance. If you're having video problems, we can replace the graphics card.

Bricked my computer with a docker install/windows update. OS was corrupted, couldn't repair installation or boot in safe mode. 100gb of music and recent projects i couldnt recover. Dropped my computer off and got it back a few days later 100% functional with all of my data/app libraries intact. Reinstalled Serato DJ, VS Code etc and was up and running in no time. Couldn't be more pleased. Super knowledgeable - if you have a tricky situation that needs to be fixed quick and in a hurry dont hesitate to bring your machine here.

Computer Fixx is, by far, the best business for computer repairs and or data retrieval. I have been utilizing their services since 2009. Recently, my cousin suffered a computer crash, and there was some very important data she needed retrieved. I agree with another reviewer-- Glenn needs a superman cape! He is beyond awesome when it comes to a computer issue! I live about 50 miles out from Wilmington and there are other computer shops nearby, but none of them compare to Computer Fixx. I will gladly get in my car and drive to Computer Fixx when a computer problem arises. Glenn and his wife are attentive

I came here to get my laptop fixed, and was pleasantly surprised by how nice and efficient the people here are. Glenn had my laptop fixed amazingly fast, and called me letting me know what he found. The price was affordable (as I'm currently a college student and can't afford to drop a lot of money on a computer) and the service was excellent! I will definitely come here again if I ever have computer problems!

Glenn, owner of Computer Fixx, is absolutely wonderful! My hard drive crashed and another company kept my computer for 3 weeks unable to recover any of my information. I am a photographer with an extensive Lightroom catalog on my system along with my entire personal existence. Within 24 hours Glenn had retrieved almost everything...I am so thankful that my coworkers recommended him! He was so helpful and accommodating...thank you again Glenn!

Computer Fixx is an excellent place to have your electronic devices repaired. I have taken two different computers there that had been infected with viruses and Glenn had them cleaned and repaired quickly and the costs were very reasonable. He was also able to help me clean up issues I had created by not knowing what I was doing. I have recommended CF to other friends and they were as happy with the results as I am. WOW, Glenn @ CF should wear a cape! He is a super hero when it comes to computer issues and is very, very reasonable! We had the worst network virus attack last month and it affected all of our computers because it was email based. The virus was actually demanding a ransom paid in Bitcoin or it was going to shut us down, completely.
One call to Computer Fixx, out of total desperation, brought Glenn to our door and within a few hours and one more remotely, we were up and running and we beat the bad guys!

Not happy. So I buy a HD camera, Im having difficulty getting it to upload to my System. So I call Computer fixx and I tried to explain what I wanted but I kept getting the "We'll get it working" with a shortness. So I bring it in and get the same treatment .
