Room was filthy. Thick layer of dust on headboard and floor was also dirty. Room had a burning smell when we walked in as though the heater had not been used and was dusty. No breakfast due to BS Covid excuse.

I slept well. It was quiet. But bath tub/ shower was not inviting.. The pillow cases look like they been taken off the pillows and shaken a few times in an attempt to get rid of the already been used look. Didn't work.
Hair dryer didn't work either, which I didn't discover until after wetting my hair in the sink (didn't want to use shower.)
I do a lot of traveling and I'm not a particularly picky person but..
Overall...for the price? Not worth it.

Terrible info when I called to see what this place had available.
Definitely over charge for the room quality, half the stuff in the room is broken or doesn’t work.
Terrible front desk service

The room was nice. I asked for a smoking room and was told sorry we are sold out. That's fine I can smoke outside. The next morning the lady cleaning rooms had fit about me smoking made comments to my boyfriend about it she should have said something to me

After over 12 hours in the car we wanted to stop in Dalhart for the night on our way to Albuquerque. Girl at check in could not figure out how to run a credit card without a pin. She tried running it 15 times at least. My credit card company shut off my credit card after so many failed attempts. Pool was also closed there was a sign on the gate. My advice, spend a little more money to stay elsewhere and don't waste your time here.

The most important thing about a hotel room for me is cleanliness. The room was very clean, but the bathtub could use some love. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful.
Our deadbolt wouldn't lock, so they were kind enough to let us change rooms. We didn't notice until later that our fridge in the new room didn't work. Only stayed one night, so we didn't bother to move rooms again.
The AC works very well. I was concerned at first because the room was hot when we arrived. They turn it on once you arrive, so it does cool down shortly after.
There is an ice machine and soda machine on site

Nice room clean. A little problems checking in. Booked online seemed to be some confusion. But all in all good room. No breakfast as advertised should of gotten compensation for that. False advertisement. But very nice room.

Highly recommend, rooms were very clean well equipped with fridge, microwave and coffee machine. We checked around Dalhart and by far the Regency was the best value for the money. We stayed three night's and the couple that own the motel were great helping us any way they could. Give it a try I doubt you will be disappointed.

Great price for a very comfortable, clean, room…… everyone else had turned us away the July 4th. Weekend but the owner lady at the Regency Inn was wonderful…
In fact, we are planning staying there on our way back to Texas…😊😊😊

We pulled up at 1:30am looking for a room because Extended Stay in Amarillo gave our room away even though we paid for it and reserved it in advanced, so we were scrambling to look for a place to stay. The owners were extremely nice and even accommodated us even though we had a dog and all the pet friendly rooms were booked. We were lucky to get a newly renovated room and it was really nicely done. Not modern but it was clean and we felt safe. Thank you for your kindness!
