The Haren-Wood Funeral Chapel is the area's most comprehensive family of funeral services. The Haren-Wood Funeral Chapel has been serving the communities of Malheur, Payette, Washington and Adams counties since 1965.

Beginning as Ontario's Chapel of the Roses and the Chapel of the Roses in Payette, the name of the chapels changed to the Haren-Wood Funeral Chapel in 1995 when Steve Wood and Dennis Haren purchased both chapels along with the Rosedale Memorial Gardens in Payette.The improvements made to the facilities won them the Beautification Award in 1996.

The following is a list of choices which represent the cost of our services. They may or may not include the casket or container required for visitation or viewing, burial, entombment or cremation. You are in no way limited to these service options. You may itemize services in order to select only those which are right for you.

Dennis Haren and his family have owned the Haren-Wood Family of Funeral Services since 2003 when Dennis's partner Steve Wood retired. Prior to that Dennis & Steve owned the Haren-Wood Funeral Chapels in both Payette and Ontario, Rosedale Memorial Gardens in Payette and the Haren-Wood Crematory in Ontario since 1995.

When it comes to your final arrangements, shouldn't you make the decisions? The arrangements you make will reflect your exact wishes and desires. Pre-arranging your own service will help to ease the burden of your loved ones. It will also alleviate any questions, problems or differences, which can occur among family members.

The following is a list of choices which represent the cost of our services. They may or may not include the casket or container required for visitation or viewing, burial, entombment or cremation. This package includes basic services of the funeral director and staff; washing and disinfecting of remains; refrigeration (per day); flower car/utility vehicle; transfer of remains to the funeral home; and cremation at the Haren-Wood crematory.
