My nail was completely all soaked and taken off within the first 20 minutes. Your workers are very nice, but have no regards to people’s time. It does not take nearly an hour to remove one nail, as it was already taken off with just one wipe of a towel that I did. Your responses to constructive criticism is very unprofessional

They use separate cups for the dip powder and sanitize those as well. My manicurist Trim did an excellent job, nails were not thick. Even convinced my friend who didn’t like powder to give it a try!

Deep Blue did an amazing job! I got a classic pedicure and SNS. This was my first time doing SNS but now I’m hooked. They were clean and attentive to detail. I will definitely be going back.

Great place and easy to make an appointment!! My nails look great and were done in no time. All of the staff is very friendly and accommodating! The atmosphere is calm and relaxing. The price is very reasonable as well. I will definitely be back when in town again.

I had an appointment for 3:30 p.m. and I waited over 50 minutes to start. This was ridiculous. They had three people working with seven customers in the salon. They should not have scheduled my appointment for 3:30 p.m. if they knew I would have to wait so long.

I used to absolutely LOVE this place and recommended it to all of my friends. Some of the technicians are amazing and provide nail sets that last over 4 weeks(!!) I said goodbye to my old salon after being a customer there for 5 years because of how detail and customer oriented this salon was. The kind man who helps schedule appointments and the manager of the salon are great. If you make an appointment ask for her.
I started coming here when salons were struggling and not seeing a lot of customers because of covid but now that the world is opening up, the same customer service is dwindling. Word

I came to deep blue nails for the first time today with my friend, and we both got the regular gel manicures.

I never got our technicians' names, but they were nice about helping me choose the right color. However, she didn't remove all of my cuticles, and the polish is sloppy around the edges. My technician also filed my nails before, during, AND after putting the polish on, which I think will make them peel or at least not last as long. Also, because she kept filing in between coats of polish, some of the nail dust/chunks(?) got on the nails, making the finish bumpy. :(

I came here for the first time today and was so pleased with the service! They were so accommodating, covid safe, and did an excellent job with my gel manicure! This place is really convenient for me and I'm excited to return soon!

I don't usually leave reviews but the services I received from Deep Blue couldn't go without one. Yen Li, Robert and another sweet technician provided us with top-tier pedicures and assured our safety with their sanitizing procedures. Yen gave me the best pedicure to where I had to go back the next day for a matching manicure. If I could drive all the way from NC just to get their services again I absolutely would!

I wanted to try a different Salon as I have tried a few salons since I have been in DC with varying results. The attendant who did my powder nails did such a superb job that they stayed on for 21 days and were simple to take off with minimal damage to my nails (it's impossible to not damage the nail at all given the treatment i selected). She was precise and exacting and my nails were remarked upon by all who saw them. Her pedicure was also excellent and precisely done.
I also did a massage, and it was done by a different attendant who did an amazing job.
I left greatly pleased with all three

I went to this salon post Covid and was very pleased with the level of sanitary precautions the salon owner took to make sure that his customers felt safe and protected.

He uses a sanitary system in the pedicure baths that prevent cross contamination, disinfects every touchable surface and item, and even uses UV lighting to clean the air. Ask him about his methods and he will be happy to tell you!

I would definitely visit this place again. Great service!

Best pedicure and salon experience I've had! They're so friendly and helpful. We received complementary drinks, refills and snacks. Such a relaxing afternoon with my friend. Flash forward to months later and we both agree the quality was the best we've seen. Long lasting without chipping. Wish we lived nearby. We'd make this our regular!

It pains me to write this because the staff was so nice. I spent $120 here last Thursday, which includes the tip. I received a gel pedicure and an acrylic fill with gel polish.
First, I was there for over 2 hours. When I get these services done at a different salon near where I work, where the technician is excellent, I am in and out in 90 minutes.
Second, the gel on my nails began peeling on Friday. Also, I noticed that some of my nails were oddly shaped. I went Saturday morning to have this repaired. I was there close to another half hour, if not longer. The technician was sweet and repaired

This place is fantastic. It's brand new and looks so inviting. The staff is super friendly and eager to take care of you. You check in via IPad and select your services. Awesome! Than it's off to comfy chairs and a back massage if you like. Cocktail, wine, water or green tea? Yes please!! They use a new technology with a disposable jet liner for your pedi and it's super hygienic. All the colors in the world are available and all you have to do is sit back and relax. I'm a fan

This place is brand new, beautiful, and very relaxing! I followed one of their nail technicians here from another nail place in DC. I usually just get my gel manicure changed and she is so meticulous. They have fancy new pedicure tubs that have completely disposable parts; they are completely sanitary because nothing is transferring from one customer to the next. The staff is so nice and accommodating and they offer you wine, too! I'll be back soon!

I was very impressed when I walked into this new salon. It is bright, welcoming, and very clean. As someone who has experienced an infection from a nail salon in the past, I am extremely cautious about sanitation practices. With that said, I was quickly put at ease in this salon regarding hygiene. In addition to plastic lining in the bowl, they also use disposal jets that are discarded after every use. Also, the owners/staff are very professional and highly skilled technicians. I was very pleased with my overall experience here and plan to make it my new go-to spot.

BEST nail tech in DC, Lovely, is now at a new nail salon - super clean, comfortable and inviting Book with Lovely - she is AMAZING! The owners are great too, don't feel rushed & cost is very comparable.
