Always Nails

Been a loyal customer for over a year now, you can't beat the price or the nail techs in uptown! I've gotten gel manicures but mostly acrylics- over time it's gotten busier but they always make room for clients!

Always friendly service, good Covid measures being taken, and I love the results (the hot stone massage is my favorite). Call ahead before you go to get an idea of wait times, totally worth it.

I'm not big on reviews but this is necessary. I just wasted $50.
My friend and I went here and omg please do not make the same mistake.
My friend literally left with eight of her fingers bleeding, wildly short nails, and the dip is so thick her nails look round. (She has the black polish)
Meanwhile, I asked for an acrylic fill and instead she decided to not do that and just cut them short while putting enough layers of dip over the leftover acrylic tip. Let me tell you this did not have the desired effect. My nails are thick and bumpy. She also refused to change the color after I asked to change

I normally don't write reviews. I've been coming here for years. Kim is the sweetest, most professional nail tech and I genuinely appreciate the staffs kindness every time I stop by even without an appointment.

I recommend Ly or Kim for the best mani pedis they pay attention to every detail.

Ps: I highly recommend bringing a pair of AirPods or headphones during busy days if you're one of those impatient types.

Kim and her team are the utmost professionals. My nails are always absolutely perfect. Not only do they have an amazing variety of colors, tools, techniques, and styles, but they also focus on nail and skin *care* during pedicures. Kim tries to honor walk-ins, but call ahead... they are busy, but for good reason.

I am not happy. I made a 4:30 pm appt. for a pedi. I had to wait 30 minutes to get seated. It’s now 6:15 pm and I am just now getting my nails painted. I will not come back to this place ever again. Why make an appointment if you are unable to complete it with an hour of the designated time. I have dinner plans that I am now late for. No tips for this crew. Absolutely not. Arghh.

I am In love with my nails!! I got the gel extensions for the first time and love them. It gives you a more natural look than dip or acrylic. I showed the nail tech a picture of what I wanted and it came out exactly the same as what I got

I went with a friend and I got a basic Mani deluxe Pedi (no color on my fingers) and they got the deluxe color on both. we had a great experience and everyone in the shop dresses super cute and the whole staff is friendly and welcoming. call ahead and schedule an appointment as they do get busy. The shop is extremely clean and smells really nice with soft music and room to wait and relax.
I had Quinn as my technician and they did a beautiful job. I hadn't done my cuticles in 2 months and they look so so so much healthier now. same with my heels. Quinn had a firm handed massage which really helped

Never going here again. Nails chipping after 1 week. Came back for a correction when they told me to and I ended up waiting over 45 minutes with still no service. I became so frustrated that I left and will never go back. HORRIBLE SERVICE. The dip should never be chipping on almost every nail after just a week. Do not go here, so many better places in uptown.

I get my pedicures here and it's always a great experience. Clean, professional, relaxing, and they take their time to make sure it's exactly what I want!

Although Kim was nice, my experience here was not the best with her, I have to be honest!!!

First, I arrived and was told that there is a 30 min wait, but I actually waited an hour!!! The only reason I waited so long was because, I had to kill time before meeting up with my best friend. I won't dock the nail shop for this but, warning....if you go, plan accordingly as she, would Answer the phone and set appointments around the same time for everyone who called having limited staff working.

Other ladies showed up but ended up leaving. They also had a customer take off with her friends

I've been a long time customer of Always Nails! Kim is an excellent manager and always makes me feel like a VIP whenever I call for an appointment. Polite. Professional. Excellent services. Joe is my go-to for luxury pedicures and basic manicures. He has been my primary nail tech for many years now. He ensures that all of my visits are 5 star experiences. I've gone here for years, I've been impressed by their Covid precautions until today. The woman who did my pedicure and manicure was masked and gloved and very careful. However two employees were wearing their masks around their necks and were walking around. I don't know if I'll be comfortable returning.

This is the most horrible nail shop I have ever been to in my life! I asked for a style of nails that the tech could not do but said she could, she did not know how to apply acrylic or shape nails 3 people ended up working on my nails to correct them and they still look horrible, by the way they cut my finger while they were shaping them when I told the owner, that finished my nails, that it was cut she laughed! I would never recommend this place, btw, they will not give you a discount even if you are unhappy!

If you want to get ripped off this is the place to go. They advertise $25 for a gel fill and then charge you $5 extra for almond shape. The price menu lists as these things, however at the end they throw an extra $15 for gel POWDER. For me it's not about the price but about the principal.

I've been going to Always Nails on and off for many years, and after trying almost every neighboring nail shop--I always come back here. Just got done with my appointment today (gel manicure, pictured) and they did a great job once again!

I love that they get as close to the cuticle as possible without touching it because my nails last SO much longer. Other places usually overlap and then the gel peels up after a couple days. Not the case with Always. They did start up charging for different shapes ($5 for oval, stiletto and coffin) which is a bummer. Regardless, I'm a loyal customer

Both my manicure quality and the service I received were lacking.

I came at 2:30 on a weekday and the salon was pretty empty - I had no trouble being seen right away. They have ~8 manicure stations and ~6 pedicure chairs. I got a dip manicure which was $45.

The process seemed pretty standard for a dip: buffing with the machine, filing and shaping, and nail prepping. My cuticles didn't get much attention and look the same as they did when I went in. She didn't trim them at all, she just used the buffer machine to clear them from my nail. The technician was fairly rough with my hands

I needed a quick place to get my nails done for a job interview, so I went to Always. It was starting to get busy(on a Saturday, that sounds pretty normal) , but they got me in pretty quick. I wish I caught her name, but the woman who did my nails was awesome. Wasn't rough with my hands like other places had been before,. And I did get a slight nick on my finger while the edges were getting cleaned up, but it wasn't a hassle to me, as accidents happen. Travelled to Minneapolis for work, and needed a mani and pedi badly! Found this place! Kim did an amazing job on my manicure and I could not be happier with my nails!
