I have been coming to Dr. Joyce Johnson, Lucille, Dr. Perruzzi and the outstanding team of healthcare professionals at West Ridgewood Dental for over 20 years. We are a carefully designed and staffed practice with a team of exceptionally bright and well trained members. Our doctors are involved in educating other colleagues, the public, and are constantly enhancing their own preparedness. Our original mission of caring, educating and promoting prevention and maintenance while delivering appropriate care in a manner which assures lasting health, function and aesthetics continues today.
We use the theory of ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) when we set our standards for the use of x-rays. With our digital x-rays we have reduced the amount of radiation tremendously because our radiographic sensors are so sensitive to the exposure. Our digital x-rays have instant results. With our system we have the capability to digitally confirm when there is a cavity.
The cost of your treatment will vary depending on your individual needs and treatment plan. We will discuss all your treatment options and the cost associated with each. We offer payment plan options if needed prior to beginning dental therapy, so you can make the best choice for you, your smile, and your family.

I have always been scared of the dentist. However, I do not hesitate to rate 5/5 stars for West Ridgewood Dental. The staff, dental hygienists, and doctors at this practice are so extremely patient, kind, reassuring, and TALENTED. I actually like going to the dentist now. (!!!!)

I am usually fearful of going to the dentist however, my experience with Dr. Austein was fantastic! He was so gentle and thorough that I my mind was at ease during the entire visit. The level of expertise and professional was superb! I had a full set of X-rays taken and a deep cleaning preformed. I never gagged nor did I experience any discomfort. Dr. Austein also made several brilliant suggestions regarding restorative work that truly made sense. I highly recommend this practice!!!

Dr. Perruzzi is amazing! He’s such a great dentist that even though I’m moving half hour away from the area I’ll continue to see him. I’ve sent him my whole family because I have such trust and confidence in his expertise and experience in dentistry. He appears to use the latest and up-to-date equipment and methods- he even teaches at his University. His chair side manner is wonderful, he’s always cheerful, explains what he’s doing as he works, he’s patient, likes to joke so atmosphere in his office is very ‘chill’ even tho it’s a dental office. .His office is also very clean

Our family loves West Ridgewood Dental. We each have our favorite dentist. Mine is Dr Austein since he has helped me with a few dental emergencies during the last two years. I am very happy with the results so far. The staff is extremely friendly. This is important when easing a 7 year old for her check ups. The dental hygienists are all excellent and I never hope to get one over another.
