Moe served on demand as sous chef in four star restaurants during his under grad college years with a dream of one day owning his own eatery. Sharyn traveled world-wide as a buyer in the retail industry for 14 years and realizing her natural affinity for people.

Services
To ensure top quality, Manny's Place ships your orders fresh once a week. All orders must be placed on Tuesday or Wednesday before 12:00PM (Eastern Time) will ship of the week for delivery to your door by Friday. Orders received after Wednesday 12:00PM (Eastern Time) will ship out the following week.

Manny is "DA MAN"....He has an awesome personality and a beautiful heart. We love him already, and this was our first time visiting the restaurant. It feels like home. Having had an Italian mother well, you know how that is :-) My colleagues have been certainly notified. This is the place to eat. You don't need to go anywhere else. Absolutely amazing! Combination Seafood platter fresh non greasy cooked perfect..Fried chicken their prep makes it guilty free and delicious..sides are great..
fresh corn on cob..fresh garlic spinach is delish potato salad guilt free made with right amt mayo.. I could go on and on but I'm hungry n must order dinner..I know it's gonna be Great!

I wanted a lobster roll and was pleasantly surprised that there's a place not to far away from me. The customer service is beyond lacking. I called several times and was hung up on and called back and was told to call back in 20 minutes. Once I finally was able to order it took about 20 minutes to receive my food. I picked my food up in store. There is no greeting you when you arrive and it's not a pleasant vibe in the restaurant. I will say the food was good and I would order again so we'll see how my next experience will be.

I really didn't expect very much when I learned that my group was having lunch at Manny's Place, but wasn't I pleasantly surprised. We all met there on Wednesday, July, 31, 2019 and Manny's Place is located in the middle of a small strip mall that is well kept and there were flowers everywhere and the restaurant appeared very inviting. I expected a deli but instead there were several tables in the front of the room, all with vases of flowers, and we were able to arrange two of these tables for the comfort of four adults. Bummed out because I know the food is good but I had piss poor service or lack thereof. I stood in front of the counter for more than 10 minutes and no one acknowledged me even though a woman from the back walked right past me to pick up the phone and the short stoutly gentleman that was behind the counter looked at me in the face and took off his apron and proceeded to the restroom with not so much as an I'll be right back. Stopped in for lunch while waiting for a car repair at the Mini dealership next door. We were wowed with the crab cake sandwiches. Fabulous!! Tasty beyond belief! Fries and coleslaw were also great! Service was awesome! I mistakenly ordered platters and not sandwiches and the staff could not have been more helpful or nice about it and quickly changed our orders to sandwiches. Loved this place and will be back for sure!

I have dined-in (Crab Cakes;Salmon) and ordered take-out in the past! This last visit was take-out for the lobster roll; fries and coleslaw. I came here for hush puppies, and boy oh boy am I glad I didn't fly back to Charleston just for a hush puppy fix. I sat and ate all 12 hush puppies on my own. I couldn't have been happier.
So, I can't comment on any seafood this time around - I am too full - but if the hush puppies were this good, then the crab cakes are likely some of the best around. Can't wait to come back!!

I have eaten a lot of seafood in my life living in New England. Mannys place has some of the very best seafood I have ever had...the crab cakes are the most amazing thing ever..so much fresh meat and no breading or crazy seasonings! I usually get one of their juicy rotisserie chickens to go as well and the lobster mashed is a must!
The restaurant is very clean, the staff is friendly and very helpful (Pam is the best!) and you can tell the owners really care about serving the best quality food possible in the neighborhood. Thanks Mannys!!

This place is horrible. Crab cake was soupy in the middle. I called and he had the nerve to say "maybe it wasn't cooked all the way", in a nonchalant way like it's totally normal for someone to pay for uncooked food. The fries were over cooked and barley there, I had about 15 fries in total. Never ever will go again. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE.

I've never had to write a review in my LIFE, especially a negative one and even more especially because I've been working in the industry for years. However, I give this place (specifically the owner) a 0/10 for poor customer service. My boyfriend and I walked in with 2 PURCHASED gift cards worth $100 each. The owner denied us after ordering and preparing our food once he saw the gift cards upon payment. We order $60 worth of food for dinner -- which was denied because our cards suddenly were deemed "void". There is no expiration date and I used a card just a few weeks ago

Lunch specials and daily specials are always a good deal here. That $10-minimum for card payments is a real pain though because most meals usually round out to just short of $10. So either bring cash or prepare to shell out another $5-6 for a measly side (no pun intended). I've only ordered seafood, and they were all pretty good (crab cakes ftw). There's always rotisserie chicken rolling behind the counter, but who's trying to order chicken here? Manny's has the look and feel of a seafood place; so seeing non-seafood items on the menu is kinda weird imo.
