For dog people Canon Beach has a whole lot of wonderful stuff. As long as I mind what my person saysand don't get grouchy with other dogs, I'm actually allowed to run free on the beach. There's lots of places to stay that allow dogs there, and they have great camping areas all around the area. And, get this, they have a store there that is just for us called "Puppy Love by the Sea."

Went to Mieko's to get flowers for a friend/co-worker who just lost a pet. I am so glad that I choose Mieko's, because she put so much care in creating the most beautiful, ginormous bouquet. She was so kind and so sympathetic after she found out what the flowers were for (would expect nothing less from a fellow dog lover). I don't often buy flowers, but I'm definitely going to start buying more now just to support this (local) business.

Mieko did my bridal bouquet and my husband's boutonniere for our small COVID wedding. I didn't have a clear vision for what I was looking for, but I sent her some images from Pinterest and she came up with something I loved even more than what I had sent her. My bouquet was absolutely perfect for our small, backyard wedding. Mieko was so easy to work with, responding to my calls quickly and she is so friendly as well. I'm so glad we went with her floral shop and I would use her again in an instant.

Mieko is very kind and personable while providing exceptional service. She makes you feel like family. My sister's baby was born stillborn at 8 months and I was devistated. I live out of state and was not able to attend the services but wanted my sister and her husband to feel our love for them. I requested an all white bouquet of flowers with white roses incorporated as much as possible. Mieko went out of her way to go to the flower market to pick the freshest white flowers. She delivered it to the gravesite in the children's cemetary, which is an unsual request. My sister called me 2 1/2 weeks

We went into her store with a strange request, for tons of flowers of varying heights, textures, and colors...and not only did she totally deliver - she taught us proper care of the flowers to ensure their longevity through our hot July wedding.
She really is amazing and will go above and beyond for you at an affordable price!

I've known Mieko for years and she has always provided me with exactly what I asked for at a reasonable price. Her shop is very cute. During the spring and summer she has a huge variety of flowers on display in her shop that opens to the street. I've seen some of her wedding bouquets and a funeral spray she did - they were amazing!
I was in the hospital recently and Mieko personally brought me an absolutely gorgeous Ikebana bouquet. Made my day! Thanks Mieko!
