Creative Learning Center (CLC) strives to create an environment which encourages and supports the full growth and learning potential of young children in all areas of development. The curriculum is designed to provide a balance of free choice and organized activities in a nurturing and creative setting.
The primary aim of our program is to develop the whole child. We make use of a child's natural curiosity to instill the desire to learn and to make learning satisfying so a child will continue to seek it out. We provide the wealth of inter-related experiences that each child needs to fully develop the brain and body for optimal performance in later years.

CLC has been a dream come true for our family. When we began looking at preschools for our son we knew we wanted a stimulating environment with loving teachers. What we found at CLC is more than we could have hoped for. Every day our son comes home excited to share what he has learned during the day.
Provide a program which embodies the highest industry standards through careful use of resources, by recruiting, developing and retaining high quality teachers and by encouraging open communication and a free exchange of ideas. CLC's program is designed to provide for the total growth of a child in an environment in which children are encouraged to explore, pretend, create, express feelings and thoughts, develop life skills and experience joy.

The best way to describe CLC is magical! We toured ALL of the preschools in the Olney/Ashton area and when we walked into CLC we knew in about 2 seconds that this was the preschool for us. This is my daughter's second year at CLC and my son will join the hummingbirds class next year. The staff is the top of the top. Every single person who works there knows my child and greets her by name every day, even the teachers she has not yet had. All staff have taken a genuine interest in getting to know my daughter and our family. They are incredibly skilled in teaching young children to love school

This is a true pearl of a school. I did a lot of research before choosing it for my son, touring many of the nearby preschools (e.g., Norbeck Montessori, Chesterbrook Academy, Children in the Shoe), and while I liked certain aspects of those schools, I just LOVED this school from the moment I walked through the door. Lots of pros and just a few cons.
Pros:
Teachers: Are wonderful. Full of energy and enthusiasm. Many of the teachers have also been there for many years. Two of the teachers in particular, Mrs Zechar and Mrs Harper, who are in the room for the 3-years olds, have been teaching
