We construct our chain link, vinyl, and wood fences in house. We weld and stretch the chain link sections and gates with or without barbwire and vinyl coating. Every vinyl post and rail is routed in our shop and assembled on site. When it comes to our wood fences we use poplar in our split rail fences, pressure treated is only found in our posts and stringers, and cypress is in everything else.

I called H&Y Fence on August 6th to schedule an onsite fence repair estimate. I was told the earliest available appointment date was 3 weeks out. I asked to be placed on a cancellation list in the event that a sooner opening appeared.
I called on August 19th to check status. The person with whom I spoke conferred with an associate and I was told they would check scheduling and call me back (never received a call back).
I called again today, August 27th, explained the situation and was told an appointment was never recorded for me on the 6th. The soonest appointment, as of today, is a FULL

The estimates were given in a timely manner by Mike. And once the down payment was made, I was told 4 to 6 weeks. At the 7 week mark, I was curious because no one had called me with an update on my order. They said they would call in a couple of weeks once they had my install ready to schedule.
Jason did call and schedule for the following week at 9am. There were some set-backs on install day, for I had been scheduled to be 9am and by 10am, no one had shown up or called. Having taken the morning off, I was upset when I ended up having to take the full day off and they didn't even arrive

I don't normally leave reviews like this but my hope is that this will save someone the frustration me and my husband have had to deal with. I have emailed the company several times and they don't seem to want to help us. My husband and I decided we needed a fence to protect our new dog. I noticed many positive reviews for this company so we went with them. This fence was installed in mid March. After a very short time we started noticing splits in the wood, black lines on the fence, and panels coming apart from the fence. You can see in one picture that the nail isn't even in the wood. The staff at H and Y fence were very helpful, friendly and attentive. When I needed some details re-explained In the planning and decision phase they did it without hesitation and even offered to set up a 2nd appt. After deciding and payment, There was a lengthy wait for permitting by the city but that's out of the company's control. Once that hurdle was passed, they updated me and scheduled installation right away. I'm torn on this company. On the one hand, they did a decent job coming out and bidding the job. Fence is what I expected and bid on. Only caveat is the guys didn't remove some materials which should have been removed and broke an irrigation head. Despite several attempts to contact the company, they ignored my request to fix the damage.
