We came through Lynchburg which is a lovely town and decided to stay one night. We booked a room at the country inn. I was disappointed in the room which was not clean and had not been cleaned well for sometime. The baseboards and corners in the room had cobwebs dirt and dust. Their was a green cloth recliner right next to the bed which I was afraid to touch. There is no way it can be cleaned. The toilet leaked also. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were also. At check in the attendant which is the owner had my credit card for a much longer time than my ID. He had it behind the counter and

In most cases, a hotel like this would likely receive a 3.5 star rating, but due to the location I believe a five star rating is warranted. This small town did not have much in the way of places to stay. We only stayed one night, but the room was clean, had more appliances than I would've thought, and the bed was very comfortable.

Staff very friendly. It's a cute place from the outside, and has a cottage-like look. Our room was nice but the walls needed attending too. One was really dirty or scuffed up. The beds were comfortable enough, but were way too high off of the floor. Mom is 5'3" and I am 5'4" tall... we could not sit on the beds even if we got on our tippy-toes. Then I realized why there were so many scuffs on the wall by mom's bed. People were using their feet to push themselves onto the bed. I slept on the side with the air conditioner and did not have such luck. They really need to lower those beds. I could not

I'm disabled in a wheelchair. I made reservations thru their website, well in advance for a handicap room. 7 months in advance actually. We were not given a handicap room, there are only 2 & both were taken, we were told the owner gives those rooms to people they know, who call in. Then why have it on the website? There aren't many choices in Lynchburg, none at last minute, so we had to make due. The beds are at least a foot taller than the seat on my chair & the regular room was tight for space. If I had been there with anyone elsebeside my strong capable man, I would not have been able to use

Pleasant staff, very clean rooms. The beds are big king size beds that are extremely comfortable. Best sleep in a long time. Our room was large which is great for a family of 6. Sadden there isn't a pool anymore, but kids had fun seeing the Jack Daniel's distillery and browsing the quaint local shops. Definitely a great place to stay

It was a pretty decent room. Bed was was too soft but not horrible. Room was $88 which is not bad. The room overall was clean and not cramped as it was only me and my wife. We got in late and were lucky to get a room as this is about all you can get in Lynchburg. Very friendly lady at the front desk and gave good info about the area. No places to eat after 8:00 PM and no place for breakfast early (it was Sunday). Everything in Lynchburg is about Jack Daniels! Take the tour-it is great!!!!!

Home style cooking at its best. Portions are good, be hungry when you arrive. You have to try the candied apples! Service was warm and welcoming. A restaurant where you can sit done without pretense and thoroughly enjoy the old Southern Charm atmosphere and home style cooking. Definitely will return.

I know it’s a 1 star but we are so glad we took a chance on this quaint hotel. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. They were having computer issues but let us check in and go to our tour and come back later to pay. We had several drinks outside with our neighbors who we just met and it was just a great relaxing atmosphere. It’s very motorcycle friendly. We will definitely go back.
