I was recommended by a friend to try franklin pharmacy. After a few months I came to realize that John is the best out there and the most professional. He always handles my medication with a lot of diligence and care. He keeps track of everything, deliveries are always on time, and he always calls to make sure I'm available for a delivery and gives me a specific time frame which works very well for my schedule. I highly recommend Franklin rx if you want the best customer service because I am always very busy and I need a pharmacy that can accommodate my needs without me having to be on top

Great pharmacy with personalize attention. They explain everything and make sure their patients fully understand what there taking. They also make sure you pay the lowest out of pocket cost. They enroll you to their financial assistant programs. There delivery service is super quick too. The staff is truly amazing be sure to try them out.

The staff at Franklin Rx Pharmacy were very helpful in delivering my medications to me after my surgery. They even worked work with my insurance company to make get my prescriptions covered when other drug stores told me I had to pay out of pocket. John was also able to order some products that I couldn't find anywhere else!

Excellent customer service! They've been delivering my mother's meds for a few years now and always come thru. The pharmacist is very knowledgeable and accommodating. Once a prescription was not in the bag and the pharmacist drove all the way to our house (few towns away) to deliver the meds himself! That's quality service!

Great customer service! The staff is very accommodating to the needs of the customers. My doctor sent over my scripts and I had to wait for a prior authorization. The pharmacists called me to keep me up to date with the process. I had my prescription within the week and they offered delivery too. I am very satisfied with the level of professionalism!

Following my shoulder surgery on December 20th, my wife posted a review based on my experience with Franklin Pharmacy. They complained to Yelp, and the review was removed because it was not her direct experience.
She has since re-submitted her review, but I felt Yelp users could benefit from my perspective. So, here now, is the story--in my own words--of how Franklin Pharmacy's incompetence left me without pain medication mere days after surgery.

I had such a great experience picking up some OTC items here.
I had a few questions about several cough medications and asked the pharmacist a gazillion questions about them. The pharmacist was super kind and patient and explained to me throughly. She did not seem annoyed whatsoever.
I'm glad there is a family pharmacy in Hempstead that I trust! I frequent the area to visit my family and I'm glad there is a reliable pharmacy.

It wasn't.
John at this pharmacy decided to send urgent pain medication through the USPS on the weekend before Christmas, causing a lot of pain and suffering on our end.
My husband was in pain the day after surgery and Franklin promised to deliver him in medication in time for the anesthetic to wear off. Instead they gave it to the USPS who didn't deliver it on time. A prescription sent on Thursday

Going to the pharmacy was one of the biggest chores for me but Franklin RX has changed that. I now no longer have to go to the pharmacy to pick up my medications, they are delivered straight to my door. This means I don't have to wait on long lines just so the pharmacy staff can tell me my medication is not ready. The staff at Franklin RX are all very friendly; they always assist me to the fullest extent of their capabilities. Amazing pharmacy. Excellent customer service. Pharmacist is very knowledgeable. Always willing to explain and counsel about medications. One day I wasn't able to come to the pharmacy to pick up my prescription so they delivered straight to my doorstep. This pharmacy gave me a better price for medication and experience vs large chains. I will definitely continue going to this pharmacy versus anywhere else.
