Commission is a relative question when selling your home. Most commissions are similar so the question you should be asking is "how close to asking price do you get?" Remember the old saying, you get what you pay for. Going with a discounted commission often means you get discounted service and marketing which can easily cost you more in the home sales price than the commission you paid would have.

I was the buyer for a home, and my real estate agent, Jeremy Fouse, simply forgot to contact the sellers to have the closing day pushed back. An extension was common knowledge to the sellers, the selling agent, my agent, and myself considering the amount of repairs that were necessary and up for negotiation. The selling agent tried contacting my agent twice within the final four days before closing (October 16th). Since my agent did not respond, the sellers cancelled the contract and sold the home to a different buyer. I was not informed about this or the fact that the selling agent was trying
