Established in 2014, CH&H Home Care is a provider of non-medical home care services in Newport News and Kilmarnock, Virginia as well as its surrounding areas. At CH&H Home Care, we are focused on providing high-quality in-home care services with the highest level of customer satisfaction, and we will do everything we can to meet your expectations.
Provides patients' personal hygiene by giving bedpans, urinals, baths, backrubs, shampoos, and shaves; assisting with travel to the bathroom; helping with showers and baths. Provides for activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding patients as necessary; ambulating, turning, and positioning patients; providing fresh water and nourishment between meals.
CH&H Home Care typically hires only 1 in 25 applicants. We make sure each caregiver has experience working with seniors and has references from previous clients, professionals and employers. We then check criminal backgrounds and legal right-to-work documentation. Finally, we administer an exclusive caregiver screening exam developed by our registered nurses to check for honesty, kindness and conscientiousness.
Elderly companions meet an aging parent's social needs by providing supportive conversation, helping to plan social outings and providing a little friendly encouragement to do light exercise and stay mentally active. This company has been one of my greatest pleasures to work for. In the middle of a pandemic, not only does this company establish and uphold the highest level of patient AND employee respect and consideration, but they do not falter in doing so. Some of the most unprofessional working people that they have working for there company. My sister works for the company. They treat there employees with no respect. Have them working with patients that have Covid. When people refuse to work with the clients that has covid the office will threating there jobs or the employees will be out of work all because of them refusing to work with a client that has covid. This company will put your life on the line due to there selfish act.

This company has been caring for my mother for 4 months now. The staff is great with my mother. They take her to doctor's appointments or make arrangements for her to get to them safely and in a timely manner. They also prep meals for my mother throughout the week to make sure she eats a well balanced meal. My siblings and I take turns checking on my mother from time to time since we all live out of state, so I feel good being far away knowing that my mother is well cared for by this company.
