Bill started his funeral career here at Starr Funeral Home back in 1972 fresh out of Mortuary School serving his apprenticeship under the guidance of John Starr Sr.
He worked at various other funeral homes in Texas, operated Barcheers EMS here in Sabine County for 13 years and then again worked here at Starr Funeral Home in the late nineties for John Starr, Jr. Now after many years of working at other funeral homes and other industries he has returned to now work for and with Byron Starr and bring his many years of experience to assist the families that we serve.
