Spine & Sport Physical Therapy Of Waupaca
We use a combination of advanced physical therapy and manual osteopathic evaluation and treatment techniques. In other words, out therapists use their hands to treat. We keep a clear focus on identifying the cause of the problem, instead of just treating the symptoms.

As Physical therapists we help our patients suffering from injury or disease to restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities. In addition, we promote patients' overall fitness and health. We work with health-care teams, including physicians, occupational therapists, and psychologists.

How does dry needling work? - The exact mechanisms of dry needling are not known. There are mechanical and biochemical effects. Based on the pioneering studies by Dr. Jay Shah and colleagues at the National Institutes of Health, we know that inserting a needle into trigger points can cause favorable biochemical changes, which assist in reducing pain.
Alisha graduated from Waupaca High School in 2006 and graduated with honors from the Globe University Massage Program with over 1200 hours in course work. Alisha trained in many different types of techniques, but she is passionate about Condition-Specific Massage. When a client comes in with a specific complaint I like to use that time with them to work on those areas.

Best physical therapy I have had. The PT individualizes a care plan that works for you. Under their care, I have been able to function a lot better and avoid surgical intervention for a second time now.
