I had a local AC contractor install a Daikin mini-split system and they configured it incorrectly and abandoned the job. Then I called a very large HVAC company in San Jose and their mini-split people had no experience with Daikin and advised me to find another company with Daikin experience. I called Hardy and Jimmy went to work on the outdoor unit, reconfigured it and charged for one hour of diagnostic work and one more hour making it work and checking the operation of the system. I was very happy with the work and I knew that I had found the right people for the job.

These guys are great. Darryl thoroughly check out our furnace and ductwork. His bid included all the options I asked for and won out over four other bids. The work done was very professional. Removal of old furnace and ductwork one day. Installed new furnace and ductwork and made everything work over the next two days. They were easy to work with and cleaned up each day. Hire them for your furnace job.

I want to thank Tyler & Omar for going underneath my house to evaluate and inspect my ductwork and registers. They were very thorough, professional, and knowledgeable. From the get go I told them the purpose was to preserve and extend the life of my ancient furnace unit and metal ductwork. I was walking the perimeter while they were underneath the house and I could hear both talking to each other on the state of the ductwork. I came away impressed with their honesty and evaluation, and for not trying to upsell me. They devised a good plan on what needed to be done, I look forward to their quote

During the CZU fire, our home had some smoke infiltration and afterwards I was worried whether our HVAC is safe to run. When asked, Hardy sent out a team that did a free inspection of the entire system and the furnace, and were able to advise and suggest solutions to improve air filtration for the next time there is an air quality problem.
They were pleasant and thorough, diligent about both safety and keeping my house clean.

These guys are REAL. They get it. First time I called with my heater out in the middle of winter weather I got the owner Darrell, who was pleasant and ready to accommodate when all others were just going to "see what they could do". He send a young man named Chance over, who was also very friendly and accommodating. The repair wasn't "cheap" but it was delivered with good, honest service and the price was at least seemingly fair.

Hardy Quality Air is the BEST! We hired Hardy to hang our custom hood-vent over our stove and were impressed with the owner, Darrell who came to give us a quote. He was punctual, friendly and professional. He even noticed a couple of items that needed to be addressed in our attic which made us feel confidant that he had an eye for detail and was a man of integrity. His crew came on time, were polite and did the job in a timely manner. They talked to us about our project when they arrived to be sure we were on the same page and asked us if we liked the height of the hood before it was permanently

I think giving them 2 stars is generous. My furnace was not working properly. Their trained personnel, Steve came out and inspected my furnace. He recommended I replace the circuit board which would have costed me hundreds of dollars. I think it would have been $500-$700. They charged me $106 for their diagnosis. I decided to get a 2nd opinion from Chris Wilson Plumbing. They told me the problem was not the circuit board but the ignitor and replaced it for $316 total including the diagnosis. Furnace is still working years later.

I battled with a home warranty service after my furnace went out. It's winter and I'm in northern California near the Pacific Ocean. It's normally very cool here and with the rains and winds we've been getting with El NiƱo, it's not pleasant. The warranty company said it would be nearly two weeks before I'd have a new furnace installed (four days to schedule a visit to inspect what I already knew, 5 days for them to process claim and then 3-5 days to schedule

We recently had Hardy Quality Air replace a $45 part (estimated) so that our wall furnace pilot light would stay lit. They replaced the part in approximately 30 minutes. Thus, we were surprised to learn that we were billed for 2 hours of work, resulting in an outsized charge of nearly $300. After a conversation with the office, we had a half-hour's worth of the labor waived, leaving a still inflated charge. We chalked this up to experience. However, we still have to relight the pilot nearly every day.
