We are locally owned and operated and have locations in Marion and on Niemann Ln on the border of Carbondale & Murphysboro. Niemann's American Flooring is the only flooring sales and installation dealer in Southern Illinois that recycles carpet pads. On average, we recycle over 100,000 pounds of carpet pad per year. While the green initiative is a trendy option for local and national businesses to embrace, we celebrate the fact that we have made recycling carpet pad our initiative for the last 20 years!

Where do I start? We bought a whole house full of top grade carpeting from the Marion, IL store. We paid premium $$$ to what we thought was going to be great. Don't get me wrong, we love the actual carpet. We were sold on a lifetime guarantee and we have gotten our carpets cleaned just like the warranty required. Well, within 2 years we had to… have it re-stretched because it was "bubbling" up. If that wasn't bad enough, it needed to be res-stretched again in a couple more years. I'm very happy with my floors. Pricing was same/better than large chains. Mariann was very helpful with making selections, was very responsive to my questions/concerns, and stayed in constant contact with me throughout the process. Bob did a great job on a tight schedule. I'll be back with more projects!
