I wanted to create a website that would help clients hire the finest musicians in Chicago. In 2002 after launching Chicago Jazz Magazine he began coordinating music entertainment for private and corporate events throughout Chicago.
Starting in 2004, he became the co-musical director at the world famous Peninsula Hotel in Chicago where he helped coordinate entertainment for celebrity events, corporate and VIP receptions, weddings, private parties and the weekly music program which incorporated a weekend jazz program and daily string performances for "High Tea".

Mike Jeffers, this group has performed at many of Chicago's high profile hotels, McCormick Place, Navy Pier, Willis Tower, Hancock Center, Taste of Chicago to name a few.

The group Sinatra, Martin and More features the music that Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr made famous. However this group also performs more then just rat pack style music they also include music by Tom Jones, Elvis, Burt Bacharach, Frankie Valie and others.
The Chicago String Quartet combines some of Chicago's finest players together into a world class string quartet with years of experience performing for weddings and corporate events. Performing classical, jazz and pop selections, depending on the atmosphere our clients are trying to create, The Chicago String Quartet creates energy and excitement in the room but at a low volume so your guests can still mingle and network.
The Mike Jeffers Trio combines some of Chicago's top jazz players into one high powered group. Lead by Chicago Jazz Magazine publisher Mike Jeffers this group includes instrumentalists who have performed at many of Chicago's world famous jazz clubs and high profile hotels. Jeffers recently completed a four year residency at the world famous Peninsula Hotel in Chicago.
