Have just recently started working with ProActive. I am starting a new business and the "business stuff" is out of my wheelhouse. Tom and Paul have been so patient to answer all my questions in a way that I can understand, and have advised me on the basics of setting up a business, along with other important things I should know and do. My small business has been working with Proactive for the last few years and as we grow, they continue to provide excellent service that accelerates our progress! They help with not only taxes, but also payroll, filings, etc. And they are honest about the costs and pros and cons of doing it myself compared to going with them. I like that I can e-mail or call them even during busy seasons and they respond consistently with relevant information.

I used their services when I first moved here. Called repeatedly to get my taxes back, I gave them to her weeks in advance, Called me the night of due date and said I could just get to the post office knowing the lines on April 15. When I tried to confront them, they gave an excuse of "inter-office" personal problems. VERY unprofessional.

After using other accountants in town and not being satisfied, I found Pam Burns of Proactive Accounting 6 years ago and couldn't be happier. Pam has been our accountant for several years now and we love her. My husband has a small business and she makes sure all our papers are filed right on time. She also helps us by suggesting ways to improve our tax position and helps me keep the books up to speed. We consider her a personal friend.
