STUART T. LEERSSEN, LICENSED PHYSICAL THERAPIST, is the owner and founder of Haven Physical Therapy, Inc. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago, in Chicago, Illinois in July of 1999.
He worked as a physical therapist, aquatic therapist, accredited clinical instructor, and outpatient orthopaedic and inpatient physical therapist at Advocate/Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove, Illinois, until moving to Pengilly, Minnesota, in April of 2003.He worked for Radtke Physical Therapy as Physical Therapy Director in Nashwauk for nearly ten years before purchasing that business and changing the name to Haven Physical Therapy.

To prevent fraud, you must present a valid insurance card(s) or Worker's Compensation/Auto Insurance claim numbers and date of injury.
Myofascial Release: An application of gentle static pressure into the facial (connective tissue) system to release restrictions. Muscle Energy Technique: Using the patient's own muscle contraction to reposition a joint to normal. Active Release Techniques: Apply external pressure with dynamic movement of the muscle to achieve release of restriction.
Haven Physical Therapy has contracts with and accepts most insurance plans including, but not limited to, Medicare, Medicaid, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Medica, and Itasca Medical Care. Your insurance is a contract between you and your insurer, which may not cover all of your care. Please refer to your insurance manual for details of your plan, and call our office at (218) 885-1282 so we may verify our participation with your health insurance.
