For over 46 years METALfx has been a leading provider of precision sheet metal fabrications, enclosures and assemblies. In the early years, METALfx, a division of Advanced Manufacturing and Development, Inc., was a primary supplier of chassis, rack mounts, and other networking equipment to Cisco Systems.
METALfx optimizes your build by using the right tools to get the job done. Our experienced team regularly assembles custom enclosures and frames and can also add hardware, do kitting, and sub-assembly builds. An excellent option for prototypes and short runs, laser cutting requires no tooling. Our precision 4000 watt laser cutting centers produce high tolerance results that are consistently accurate.
Headquartered in the charming town of Willits, CA, METALfx provides advanced sheet metal fabrication services in its expansive 125,000 square foot manufacturing facility. METALfx has extensive on site capabilities including powder coat, wet paint, plating and silkscreen.

Continuous improvement is a cultural imperative that starts at the top with a monthly senior staff review of key metrics such as % Acceptance, Cost of Quality, and On Time Delivery. Post-production job review is also an integral part of our continuous improvement program. Jobs are regularly reviewed to identify those exceptions that are not moving through production with optimized processes.

Use to work here , hazardous work place with hardly any personal protection worn, hours are terrible, company asks you work over 100 hours biweekly only making 14-15 dollars an hour. Late on every yearly review for employees. Management has no experience with shop work; but tells workers how to do their job , so that customers “ get what they pay for”.

When I worked for them as a welder they only paid me $17.87 hr when I asked for a raise I was told welders are a dime a dozen . I recommend not working for this company as a certified welder
