Our pharmacy began as a member of The Medicine Shoppe franchise system, where we remained for 30 years. As the pharmacy's focus evolved to a full service "compounding pharmacy" we also transitioned into an independent pharmacy as a part of the United Drug Co-Op.

Compounding combines an ageless art with the latest medical knowledge and state-of-the-art technology, allowing specially trained professionals to prepare customized medications to meet each patient's specific needs. Compounding is fundamental to the profession of pharmacy and was a standard means of providing prescription medications before drugs began to be produced in mass quantities by pharmaceutical manufacturers.

I went here for the first time today because I was prescribed a medication (it's an oral rinse with lidocaine for an extremely bad sore throat) that apparently no other pharmacy in town makes/carries. I had my two daughters with me (ages 1.5 and 3) and we had to wait in the lobby for a few minutes because I got there early. Several staff members spoke to us, including the pharmacist, and everyone was so friendly and nice and they even talked to my daughters and tried to keep them entertained. They also called me the day before to get my insurance info over the phone (because they said sometimes

Dr Campbell and his amazing staff are always there to help and answer questions. I made a choice years ago not to sell supplements out of my office because I can send patients there regularly to buy professional, quality level products. Everyone at the Medicine Chest is so kind, easy to work with and keep me coming back. Andy is by far the most caring pharmacist I've met, calm and courteous even through the tears of my first call. I pay at least 10% less for most medications through them than I would somewhere like Walgreens and feel much more like a person rather than a number. If there are any problems on their end, they correct it satisfactorily and rather quickly. I appreciate doing business with them.
