Services
Heatherwood Rehabilitation & Health Care Center offers short-term rehabilitation, long-term, respite, hospice and dementia care. Our dedicated staff provides individualized care with compassion, dignity and respect. At our facility, you will find a warm and homelike environment with spacious private and semi-private rooms, a welcoming dining area, a comfortable and inviting living area, and a beautiful outdoor patio.
At each of Athena's managed facilities, our professional caregivers are committed to providing an atmosphere that allows our long-term residents and short-term patients to meet their physical, social, emotional and spiritual needs in a caring, homelike environment. Family members can rest assured that their loved one will be cared for with compassion and dignity.
Our short-term rehabilitation and post-hospital care includes orthopedic, cardiovascular, neurological, and post-surgical recovery and rehabilitation, to name a few. Our team also specialize in those with medically complex care, post-substance abuse treatment and traditional long-term skilled nursing care.

Without going into detail I used to work in transportation; if you love someone send them somewhere else please.
This place isn't Kindred Rehab levels of bad, but it's bad.
Edited to Add: Saying things like "We wish you good luck in your job search and hope you find a better fit" makes you look like bullies. Just FYI. Which is exactly what I wanted you to say considering I've seen what some of your CNA's do.
I've literally picked up patients from the first and third floors who were covered in feces because y'all didn't clean them. Lets not get passive aggressive, you know exactly what you do

The essence of humanity bounces off the walls inside of Heatherwood. You can hear the conversations of patients talking amongst themselves, nurses foot steps making their way up and down the hallways, and in the evenings as the dust of the day settles in the building a blanket of comfort settles as well.

Mom was placed here after she had a fall. I can not say enough about the staff here. They are kind and respectful to every resident here. Staff is constantly checking on patients and making sure that they are comfortable and their needs are meet. Facility is extremely clean with no odors. Therapists, Doctors, nurses, administrators have each patients best interest in mind.
