We are blessed to have some of the finest, friendliest, and caring staff members to be found. They love taking care of people, and it shows! Carissa is our Office Supervisor at Jackman Optometry. She began her career working at a "big box" optometry facility, joining Dr. Jackman's in 2012. She trains our staff and oversees many office functions to keep things running smoothly.

After 15 years of uncomfortable progressive eyeglass lens prescriptions and low-tech optometry appointments, I searched for a doctor with high-tech equipment and testing capabilities. Dr.Jackman always takes her time to get to know you and your history. She never rushes and pays attention to all the important details. Her staff is kind, friendly and accommodating, answering all of your questions. Excellent patient service. They have a great spa like room with massage chair to relax in back while you wait. I really love this doctor. She is amazing and so is her staff. She has taken care of my entire family since 2014. My husband has a rare eye condition and she has gone out of her way to take care of him. She has even stayed after hours to make sure he would be seen. (Difficult patient).. She has improved his life because he had been seeing blurry for years before he got the diagnosis from her. She was able to address his eye problem and now is able to see much better. Even though he will live with this condition for the rest of his life and might even need a transplant. For now his life has improved

Our family has been visiting Dr. Jackman's office for almost 7 yrs now. Staff members are polite and courteous. They combine decades of experience with the industry’s latest equipment to bring their patients optometry service that is simply unparalleled in Orange County. During one night game, I was playing in the outfield and I was having trouble seeing the ball come off the bat. Also, when the ball approached me it seemed to be "knuckling" or shaking. Been coming to Dr. Jackman for almost a decade. She is very good at what she does and her staff is first rate (Carissa and Xochilt). Their level of professionalism and service is something that's hard to find nowadays.

Great staff. They were very professional and friendly. It was my first time getting contact lenses, which I was nervous about. The staff trained me on how to put in and take out contact lenses. They were very patient and courteous to me. Made me feel comfortable throughout my appointment. Normally I dread going to the doctor's office, but the staff at Jackman Optometry made it so much nicer. Dr. Jackman was also helpful in explaining the results of my eye exam and what I needed to be aware of.

This is the best eye doctor experience I have ever had, and let me tell you, I've had a few. I have horrible vision, I've had an ulcer in my eye in the past and have early onset macular degeneration...so I've got some major eye problems, and Dr.Jackman is fantastic, she's helped me have the best vision I can and her staff is amazing. I've been going here for 5+ years and can't say enough good things about them.

My wife had an appointment here and had an awful experience. First, it took them 30 minutes before they took her back, then she had to wait even longer before seeing the actual doctor. After being there an hour, she walked out. They texted her saying they’d wave the $75 cancellation fee “under certain conditions” but at that point, $75 was a small price to pay for not having to deal with them again. My visits to Jackman Optometry are always very pleasant. The staff are always courteous and helpful and they have placed many safety standards that they adhere to for all the Covid guidelines. My wife and I recently visited Jackman Optometry as part of our annual check-up. Service and safety measures were excellent! You will go through a multi stage Q&A, disinfection process to ensure that everybody is as safe as possible. Anything you touch gets disinfected before your eyes. This is how it should be done everywhere! The eye exam was really thorough and we appreciated Dr. Jackman's expert opinion. They may not have the greatest selection of frames if this is what you are after but they surely check all the boxes on the clinical side of things!

Every year since 2012, I have received glasses and an eye exam from Jackman Optometry. They are simply honest, helpful, and reliable. Stopped by Dr Jackman's new place, I was very impressed, everything is brand new and flawless. Very organized and spotless.
She got new state of the art equipment and a huge variety of glasses frames to pick from.
My test went by smoothly and they helped me pick great new style frames, I was in and out in not time

I came in recently with my father. He had expressed to me that he never received a good exam at Costco or any of the other places he had gone and was nervous and skeptical. We arrived and were taken care of quickly. My Dad said "it was the most thorough exam for his eyes he had ever had". He told me how he appreciated the patience and he was excited about being able to see with his new glasses. I helped my Dad pick out frames. Even though his insurance only covered the exam, she showed him frames that were nice looking and yet affordable enough. It was a real pleasure and I'll be back for any future

I found Dr. Jackman while looking for a new provider that accepted VSP insurance. My experience overall was very pleasant. The contact fitting at this office is a little pricier than I expected, but the exams were very thorough.
