I started Wildcat Moving after graduating from the University of Kentucky's MBA program in June of 2010. I was aware that the big moving companies were taking advantage of the people of Kentucky. Low competition driven by ridiculously complex state permit regulation had created a quasi-monopoly that had been driving up rates for years.
I recognized a niche. By keeping overhead low, we are able to charge much less than our larger competitors. I am committed to providing quality service to the community. I believe that a reputation as an honest and reliable businessman is the recipe for success.

Wildcat Moving of Lexington, KY, is an experienced local and long-distance moving company that will handle your move with care. All of our movers are clean-cut, athletic and well-trained men who will work hard to make your move easy. We are professionals with large box trucks (up to 26 feet), dollies, furniture pads and all sorts of tools.
Our movers - Robbie and Chris T were extremely professional, friendly, courteous, and also fast. We paid by the hour and these boys didn't waste any time. They were also very careful, & wanted to place everything just where we wanted it. They even found a long lost favorite remote deep inside of a couch.
We are committed to providing quality service to the community. We believe that being honest and reliable is the recipe for success. While others may seek to profit by cutting corners, or recommending unnecessary services, we believe that a good reputation and consistent service will lead to long-term stable growth.

Wildcat moving was the best part of my move! My new apartment complex pushed my move in date back TWICE and each time it was super easy to reschedule with Wildcat. Holden and Chase were professional, efficient, and super helpful! Will be using them again when I have to move in the next year.

We're extremely pleased with our experience with Wildcat Moving. When the forecast called for rain on moving day, Wildcat was able to reschedule for a day earlier. Our movers, Mason and Chase T., got the job done in short order while being professional, polite and respectful of our belongings. Would hire Wildcat again (though we hope to stay in this house until we're taken out feet first).

The two guys that moved me were outstanding! They were personable and handled my items with such care as if they were their own. It was evident that Mr. Cody Thompson was skilled in how to move and place each item in the storage unit for easy access. If available, I will be requesting the same young men when needed again! This company from the first call was outstanding answering all of my questions. Our moving team deserves MORE than five stars! They called ahead o f time to confirm, they showed up early. My greatest compliments and praise go to our moving team of Cody T, Mason, Corey H and Chase all of whom were very professional, friendly and super efficient! They called us and kept us informed of their exact arrival, which was actually at the start time I’d discussed needing when I made the appointment. They followed instructions and were extremely polite despite my anxiety. I appreciate it. They were never idle.
I was worried I’d break the bank by bringing them down to Richmond, but they figured cheaper than other companies I looked into, so much so that I asked for a third person. Glad I did

Horrific experience, broken and torn furniture, broken contents in boxes.
Sectional sofa ruined, holes poked in upholstery and many pulled places in fabric, sectional pieces would not fit back together correctly, oil stains from moving van floor on edges and corners if fabric. Corner broken off office desk, side table top cracked apart, valuable pampered chef crockery broken, bed rails for bed bent and broken. Chipped paint on woodwork at new home and scraped wall paint in several areas. I would not use or recommend this "service" to anyone.

Their packers are terrible. They were not prepared when they came. About every other box was backed improperly because they were short on supplies. Our move was out of state so good packing was imperative. Even the markers used on boxes were running out of ink so markings we're barely legible. We read reviews and thought this would be a good choice. Never again. They are terrible and unresponsive. They also charge hourly and it was a ripoff. Do not trust this company with your belongings.

Absolutely fantastic! Adam M and Caleb R were so courteous, thorough, and professional. Not only did they blow us away with being able to get all of our stuff (we had lots...) in the truck, but they took their time and wrapped the important things. They were mindful about wearing masks around my high-risk mother in these crazy times. They were so efficient in everything they did. It was cheaper than expected, too! If you’re on the fence about hiring Wildcat Moving, do it! And ask for Adam and Caleb. You will NOT be disappointed. 10/10!!! 🤩⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

If you have nice furniture that you don't want damaged or destroyed, go elsewhere. Their insurance coverage is a joke, they hide behind contracts and "KY Department of Transportation standards". When they finally process a claim and pay you about 1/100 of what your items are worth, they also threaten you not to write a bad review about them. I wonder why they are so highly rated on public forums??

I moved about a month ago from Lexington to Danville and was very pleased with how this company worked! Justice and Austin Y both showed up on time, were very polite, and called ahead to make sure I was there. They wore masks the entire time and were very respectful to my items and me. They loaded the truck impressively and helped get the furniture situated in my new house, they even were able to put some of the items back together (bed, chairs, dresser). Definitely will use them again!

Gary and Cy were professional and quick! They were moving our furniture so quickly and safely, we decided to have them take more items and they still kept it under our desired time frame!! They wrapped our delicate furniture and made sure all the pieces were taken care of before loading another. They were also very polite and friendly.

We had used this company before when we moved and I thought they were excellent so we decided to use them again when we needed a piano moved from a home in Lexington to a home in Nicholasville. The communication with them is great. They were prompt, courteous and best of all, very careful. Jordan M was the driver and he was very personable, explained everything very well and was very professional. I can say the same about the two helpers, Taylor Y. and Josh L.

Wildcat Moving helped me move on the 14th of Feb, of all the days
I had Colin and Adi to help me.. they were fantastic and quick! I'd certainly recommend them if moving.
Now there are 2 reasons I'm giving them 4 stars and not 5:
1. The guys needed me to go n get the tools to dislodge my washer n dryer... then they left them at my old house, and hence, my washer/dryer couldn't even get connected properly because they had no tools
2. Right after I booked them, I think my phone number was shared within their group and all sorts of texts, from an organizing arm to a cleaning service
