Let me sum it up in 1 word.. SMELLS!!!! The rooms are nice but smell like chemicals trying to mask the smell of smoke. If that doesn't bother you, then you may be just fine.I quickly requested our Diamond Deluxe room be changed. I walked through 6 rooms until we found a downgraded room that didn't smell like smoke. I put my kids in that room (overpaid room no offer to reimburse or services in exchange). And then they put me into another room on same floor that didn't smell as Smokey. But the longer you sat in the room the more the smell got stronger. Funny thing is they kept telling

This hotel is one of the classic sights in Roxas Boulevard. The window view gives a glimpse of the manila bay sunset. We had a fun overnight stay and we got to try their famed ensaymada in the pastry corner right at the hotel lobby. The rooms may be old but properly maintained.

The name used to stand for one of the newer hotels that lined Roxas boulevard (at least that's what I've been told), but the building clearly shows it's age. Upon arriving, the cramp single level basement parking greets you with it's insufficient lighting and ventilation. The lobby is just alright, the hotel restaurant is more contemporary and has ample choices for breakfast. The hotel hallways and rooms may be now too old by local standards, but comparing regionally falls much behind. Location is good though as Robinson's mall is kinda of walking distance, both the World

Frequent international traveler here. I had the opportunity to stay here with a large group and the service and hospitality here is by far the best I've ever experienced. We stayed on a "premier floor" and had access to the premier lounge which includes a complimentary breakfast, dinner, AND cocktails. So the only meal that you need to find is lunch. How awesome is that?! The staff is incredibly patient and will to take care of any needs that may come up. Also if you have an extended stay and get to know some of the employees, they will learn your habits and go above and beyond to

I've attended a few seminars and functions in Diamond Hotel already and I like their service. They offer great food and really good service.

It's my first time checking in and their De Luxe room is great. It's around 48 sqm with a king size bed. The room is really spacey and the bathroom is awesome. It comes with your own tub, hot and cold water, plus a bidet. The room also has a lot of electrical outlets so if you are gadget savvy and brings a lot of them like me, this room is perfect!

You can enjoy different facilities like their fitness area. You can also try their indoor whirlpool

Diamond Hotel is right in the middle of Roxas Blvd. Since my last visit, the area has really declined... There's no shopping, or attractive sites to see without having to drive. The only restaurant outside of the hotel worth going to is the Aristocrat, which was a few blocks away. But then you're walking through an area filled squatters, and beggers. There's an old smoke filled casino a block away but that's really it. The view of Manila Bay is gorgeous, the rooms are very well maintained, the hotel's dining experience was pleasant but considered to be expensive for what

Cool outdoor koi pond and waterfalls, excellent food and morning buffet. Food service was great, the actual hotel was pretty nice even though it was older, great job keeping it clean and somewhat updated. Good service.

Diamond is an old hotel on Roxas Boulevard, but right smack in the middle of where you need to be if you're part of an international cast of a production performing at the nearby stages and convention centers! Yup, this was the official residence of Wicked and Beauty and the Beast's casts when they were in Manila.

Anyway, if you're already there, don't forget to try out Yurakuen (awesome Japanese restaurant) and the crazy delicious desserts at the lobby. They serve this humongous ensaymada with ube at 150 pesos, which is pricey for an ensaymada but not for the size and quality
