In early spring (late March to early April), fill individual plant pots with clean potting soil. Place the acorns horizontally in the soil about 1 1/2 inches deep and water. Place the pots in a south-facing window or under an artificial light source and keep the soil moist. During the next few weeks, the acorns will sprout into a sapling, with a few tiny, yet visible oak leaves.
For most deciduous (broadleaf) trees, don't prune up from the bottom any more than of the tree's total height. For most species, the tree should have a single trunk. Identify the best leader and later branches before you begin pruning and remove defective parts before pruning for form. Don't worry about protecting pruning cuts.
Live oak is a large spreading tree of the lower Coastal Plain from southeastern Virginia to southern Florida and to southern Texas. It normally grows in low sandy soils near the Coast but also occurs in moist rich woods and along stream banks. On the Emerald Coast, Live Oaks often support many types of epiphytic plants, including Spanish moss, which hangs in weeping garlands, giving the trees a striking appearance.

Aubrey and her company did a great job removing several dead pine trees from my yard, grinding the stumps, and trimming up several other trees. Aubrey’s experience as an arborist was valuable to help determine which trees were diseased and needed to go. Her crew paid attention to detail and completely cleaned up all debris when done. Used coastline for about the 7th time, on time, best price around, very professional staff. A neighbor of mine came over screaming at them, they handled themselves very professionally while being screamed at for parking in the road(with cones as required).
They've taken down multiple large magnolias and removed an old oak tree today, cleaned up after themselves, ground the stump down and removed the entire tree in a few hours.
I won't hesitate to call them again for any and all tree work.

Coastline tree Service cut their way to my house not once, but twice because the address was mistakenly listed as on Lakeview instead of Lakewood. Guy Santucci and his bride Aubrey Santucci were instrumental in getting a large oak tree off my house without the use of a crane. Guy Santucci was very professional and explained my options. He charged me a fair price for the job he preformed. I give him and his staff 5 stars for providing a needed service in a timely manner. I recently purchased a home that has a massive live oak in the backyard. It was overhang my roof and my fence. I hired coastline 3 service to do the tree work. They were awesome. Very professional and courteous and obviously experts at what they do. I got 4 estimates and theirs was the lowest now is very satisfied with the work they did. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs an arborist or tree service.
