Born and raised in Loudonville, Dr. Dakota has a deep rooted love for this quaint Ohio town. Upon graduating Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2016, he knew immediately that his hometown would also be home to his practice. After extensive renovations to a historic building on Main St., he was able to fulfill his dream of opening here and bringing health and healing to the community that he loves.
We were about six months in of trying different meds to help our little girl. None of which did any good. Some side effects were explosive outbursts, extreme tiredness (zombie), paranoid about everything, unable to sleep, scared of her own bedroom, extreme hypersensitivity to touch, and that is just a few.

I went to Dakota for the first time yesterday and was amazed how much time he takes with you and how he genuinely cares about making you feel better. He is such an asset to our community and we are lucky to have him . Although I have been only adjusted once by him so far I already am feeling so much better, can’t wait to see after keeping on a maintenance with him how much better and more things I’ll be able to accomplish that my pain has stopped me from being able to do !

Being a tattooer im always in weird positions and my back is always hurting from being hunched over all day. After a few visits my pain was almost gone and now I feel better then I ever have and have so much more moment then I have before. Dr. Dakota is not only one of the nicest, honest and humble people you’ll ever meet but he’s a great… chiropractor as well. Everyone in his office is always happy and smiling and that’s super refreshing to come and see in a place of business. I recommend him to everyone of my guest artists family and friends. I am not sure what we would do without this excellent group of people! My daughter is doing much better and I recently became a patient. They are willing to fit you in when are in pain and very patient with me I am nervous about my first adjustment. I feel so much better already. I am not sure why I didn’t do this sooner. Thank you!

We have been taking our daughter to Dr.Z and had our second scan and it was a positive scan and an improvement from the first scan with her medication, this one was without her prescription medication, we stopped it after her first scan (her decision) she’s 15 and she really does not want to be on medication all her life so we were willing to try anything, we tried oils and she didn’t really notice any real changes. Until Dr.Z started adjusting her, she’s not having any issues (maybe some friend drama at school she is a teenager) but not the issues we were seeing at home. Dr.Z and his office

I threw my back out shortly after having my son. I was able to be scheduled and seen the same day and have been nothing but VERY impressed with the level of care and knowledge provided. I have continued my routine care and have since begun taking my 4-month-old, Dr. Zickefoose is so wonderful with him. I was skeptical, but after a couple adjustments we have seen improvements with his colic and general signs of discomfort. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

My wife and I visited Strive Health Chiropractic for initial assessments and to find a remedy to some back pain. We are already convinced of chiropractic care but our visit with Dr. Zickefoose further cemented those thoughts. The time he spent with us educating us, doing x-rays, and then adjusting were very helpful. He is truly in this field to serve and provide for people a healthier life.
