Services
Because of the shorter lifespan of our pets, Range Animal Hospital LLC stresses the importance of an annual physical examination. Thorough check-ups and preventive care can help alleviate serious health problems. Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services: Our hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pets' complete health care needs.
Dr. Stephanie Holloway graduated cum laude with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Iowa State University, and has practiced since in the North Woods, enjoying the small-town family life and recreational opportunities. She strives to bring high quality diverse and compassionate veterinary medicine to our area.
Firstly, our pets can't speak, they cannot tell us if they feel off color or unwell or have any other indicators of internal illness. We need to examine them every 6 months as well as run some routine screening tests to detect underlying disease BEFORE it is clinically apparent. Use the age chart below to find your pets age in "people" years and the screening testing recommended for each stage of his or her life.
Many people have questions about various aspects of their pet's surgery, and we hope this information will help. It also explains the decisions you will need to make before your pet's upcoming surgery. Today's modern anesthetic monitors have made surgery much safer than in the past.
Here at Range Animal Hospital LLC, we do a thorough physical exam on your pet before administering anesthetics, to ensure that a fever or other illness won't be a problem. We also adjust the amount and type of anesthetic used depending on the health of your pet. The handout on anesthesia explains this in greater detail.

Unfortunately this is the only animal hospital nearby that is accepting of new clients at the moment. I have no quarrel with the veterinarian nor have I met him, however his staff is simply terrible.
We have paid for medications (iverguard) and not been given them. Instead of being honest and contacting us we had to contact the hospital for them to tel us that they had forgotten to tell us that they hadn't received their shipment of it in - something they should have done before we paid for it.
They also tried to say that we needed to pay for an schedule an examination because supposedly one

Called to try to set up an appt to get my dogs pregnancy terminated due to her being too young and she hooked up with her brother, and the lady on call was highly rude. I was bawling at the end of it. She started speaking loudly like she was yelling, she hated the fact that i used the word abortion and showed that through the aggressiveness in her voice. I was so shaky and upset to even call the next number I have written down. They continuously told me to call my vet and have them do it themselves. Yet deepwoods my vet, gave me this vet as a recommendation because they have no surgeon and I told

For the last 24 years, each of my dogs has been treated at Range. I will relate just one story about one of my dogs - I have dozens of others. When Liebchen was diagnosed with lymphoma, the oncologist gave us a bleak diagnosis - no treatment, just being kept comfortable, maybe weeks. With treatment 6-8 months. But, to receive treatment, we would need to travel to Madison (5+ hrs away) or Lower MI (10 hrs away). The oncologist called Dr Holloway at Range and together they set up a treatment plan. Dr Holloway rearranged her schedule to accommodate treatment, administered all the various chemo

I was visiting my dad in Marenisco, MI. My little dog was attacked by a large dog. My dad called them to let them know we were on our way with an emergency. When we got there, I was shaking and almost in tears. The receptionist was incredibly rude. She told me you have to call to make an appointment. I let her know my dad had called and we had just drove 45 minutes with a painful dog. She didn't care and told us to go somewhere else. I worked at an animal hospital for 10 years and NEVER turned away anyone! We might not have been able to look at the animal right away, but we would make time
