Our experience at A Private Estate was magical. Jack the property manager, put us at ease, even securing a metal detector to find an earring lost in the leaves. We felt completely comfortable and well cared for. We will never forget this enchanting experience. Our property has three distinct areas: our Riverside Grounds, Barn Complex, and on-site Housing.

This is a beautiful gem tucked along the banks of the Hudson River. The grounds are immaculate and the proprietor and caretaker will work with you to bring any aspect of your special day to fruition. This space affords privacy and breathtaking views of the Catskills. I have been to weddings here where the guests never wanted the night to end!

Attended a wedding at the location in the late Summer. Property is lovely but the venue should stress to the wedding couple the actual condition of the property i.e., flat shoes PERIOD. Guests in high heels were sinking into the lawn! Closed toe shoes might also have been a good suggestion as for the event we attended the shuttle from the parking area to the event area were given the wrong time to arrive and we were forced to walk down dirt/gravel paths - even in flat sandals it was problematic. Elderly guests were shuttled down in garden carts.
