On the outside everything looks fine. You look like you have it all together and to others your life looks great. But on the inside you feel overwhelmed, stressed, anxious and depressed. No one knows the real chaos you have going on in your life because although friends and family mean well, they just don't know how to give you the support you need.
You're trying your best to hold it together but feel like things are falling apart and you're scared. Some days you feel like you are "going crazy". You want to feel more in control of your life and you want a place to sort things out where you won't be judged or shamed. You're ready to finally not just appear happy but BE happy!

Kim L. Knight, MBA, MS, LMHC is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Certified Life Coach who has been in the helping profession for 12+ years. After years of working in the healthcare industry in various roles from leadership to sales, she decided it was time to fulfill her passion of helping others and become a therapist.
Our role as therapists is to provide support and encouragement during a client's time of difficulty. The conversations we have with clients gives them the freedom to express the deep emotions that often lie below the surface of ones visible emotional state. We never take for granted what an important role a therapist can play in a client's life and consider it a privilege to be able to work with clients toward achieving mental wellness.
Not at all. People who ask for help know when they need it and have the courage to reach out. Everyone needs help now and then. In our work together, I'll help you explore and identify your strengths and how to implement them to reduce the influence of the problems you are facing. The difference is between someone who can do something, and someone who has the training and experience to do that same thing professionally.
Depending on your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan, it is possible for services to be covered in full or in part. Please contact your provider to verify how your plan compensates you for psychotherapy services. Do I need written approval from my primary care physician in order for services to be covered?.
