We offer two popular brands of thermal transfer ribbons -- Zebra Brand and Armor Brand. Many users of Zebra brand thermal printers prefer to only use Zebra brand thermal ribbons, which we offer at discounted prices. Zebra is the market leader with a great reputation for quality and dependable products.
Wax Thermal Transfer Ribbons are recommended for use on uncoated paper stock and tags. Our wax thermal transfeer ribbons are enhanced with a slight blend of resin to improve printability and durability compared to competitive thermal ribbons which are constructed of all wax. Ribbon prices are categorized by ribbon configuration, which includes the core inside diameter (ID), whether the coated side is WOUND IN or WOUND OUT, and print head type.
Colored thermal transfer ribbons are available in process colors and a variety of stock spot colors. Colored thermal ribbons are available in wax, wax/resin, or resin thermal ribbon formulations. Resin thermal transfer ribbons are sunfast and will not fade in sunlight for up to one year. Our stock color thermal transfer ribbons are configured for "flat head" printers with 1 inch inside diameter cores and 984 lineal feet in length.
