John and Brandy grew up near New Bern, NC. Together with their two girls, they love boating and exploring the beaches of the Crystal Coast. Their favorite places include Ocracoke and North Core Banks. Their love of all things coastal led them into photographing the beautiful area and pursuing degrees in photography.

Brandy is the artsy one! In addition to degrees in both photojournalism and portrait studio management, Brandy has studied under some of the top portrait and wedding photographers in the country. Her love of purist photography and photojournalism, lead Brandy to photograph special moments and details unobtrusively.

I recently put my home on the market and had Portraits by Angelo do the photos for the listing. John did a wonderful job of capturing the warmth and charm of our home. He spent a considerable amount of time and did not rush through the process. John also used a drone to take numerous aerial photos.

John did our engagement photos and then John and Brandy did our wedding photos. John spent hours with us in the heat of summer getting a ton of great pictures! He made us comfortable and it was a lot of fun! We got our pictures back quickly and they are fantastic! On our wedding day John and Brandy spent most of the day/night with us getting a TON of AMAZING pictures! It poured down rain and was windy, but we still got amazing pictures inside and outside! I had photos of my home taken by them because I received a referral from someone who did for-sale-by-owner and sold their own place within 14 days due to the images they posted online. They were very courteous and professional and took about 2.5 hours to go through the entire home, which resulted in about 60 awesome shots for us to post online. Processing the photos took just a couple of days and I immediately posted them to the MLS. Within days I noticed results as potential buyers began calling me for a showing of the home.
