We had the wedding of our dreams. I honestly can't think of anything that went wrong with our big day and I owe that almost entirely to Carly from Vintage & Lace (and very good luck with the weather).
Carly was our Day-Of Coordinator for our backyard wedding with about 35 guests. We had a great discussion early on about what I envisioned, and she was nice enough to help me with some urgent questions before becoming full accessible the month before the wedding. From that point on, she took full control and that allowed me to sit back and enjoy the moment with minimal stress.

If you're getting married in Hawaii and you need a wedding planner you have to hire Vintage and Lace. Carly was absolutely amazing!!! We loved working with her and couldn't have asked for a better wedding planner. We live in Canada and Carly made it very easy to communicate with her over Facetime and e-mail. The day of the wedding she was very calm and made sure everything not only went as planned but exceeded our expectations.

We had wanted to go with Vintage & Lace for a whole year and when we tried to plan an intimate wedding Ben was responding and change their mind and said it wouldn't work out. Ridiculous service, snobby and there are better wedding planners on the Island such as swept away who will treat you like a proper human being.

We booked a full wedding design package and day of planner through vintage and lace a year before our wedding leaving plenty of time to clearly communicate. We were never able to get ahold of a planner by phone or Skype as promised and emails were extremely few and far between. I usually had to wait a month for a short response. Because of the poor communication we had to plan the whole wedding all on our own. The first item on our contract was a beautiful triangle arch, when I walked down the isle on my wedding day I was surprised to find an arch my florist kindly provided

Carly is truly the best! Carly definitely made the process of planning a destination wedding stress free! I am so blessed to have had her as a wedding planner by helping us pull off our special day. We had the honor of having Rachael of Vintage & Lace for our day of coordinator on 4/15/17 and to this day, we swear it changed the entire day. She was perfect and made our day truly care-free and absolutely wonderful. Apologies on this lengthy review but I thought I would be descriptive on my experience with Vintage & Lace. I live in Sydney, Australia and I found Vintage & Lace through Instagram and instantly fell in love with the images on their page. Initially I wasn't going to hire a wedding planner but once I started researching I quickly became overwhelmed with all the details involved in wedding planning. I contacted Rachael and she was nice, she gave me a good discount since I had booked my own venue, photographer, and did some of my own research on vendors.

I highly recommend Rachael and Vintage & Lace, whom I hired for Full Planning, Coordination and Design of my wedding at Hokukano Bayhouse. She was very responsive, knew the best vendors who all seemed to go out of their way for our event knowing we were working with her, and I loved the way she organized and kept track of the entire process in a shared document we could all access. We got all the planning done quickly and easily and her design for us was exactly what I wanted. The design of our event turned out incredible and all our guests kept commenting on how it was the best and most beautiful

Our 12/31/16 wedding was perfect. I am a grad student and relocated 4 months before the wedding to DC. I was clear on the colors and style we were looking for, need for vegetarian food, and the ceremony site, but otherwise we truly wanted her to have the freedom to do what she does best. Hiring Heather as wedding planner for our daughter's June 4 wedding was one of the best decisions we made throughout the process. She is personable, organized, elegant, accessible and approachable. We were continuously disappointed with Rachael's lack of responsiveness in even trying to get her to issue a contract to us to get the process moving, having met with her face to face at our venue. She missed two planning calls, without explanation, and had her "assistant" Miriam (who is her sister based in Colorado) follow up with excuses days after.

She went MIA several times during the six months that we planned our wedding, and strangely enough, three days before our wedding we were unable to reach her for over 24 hours. She always had an excuse, and was very nice about it all, but we were much too patient.

I had talked to several very well reviewed and very reputable vendors (for catering, photography, and venues) on the island prior to deciding that I needed a wedding planner and Rachael was the most frequently recommended.
