D'Amico and Associates in Counseling is a private practice of licensed professional counselors and social workers providing quality therapeutic services in a safe and nurturing environment. Our staff takes pride in providing a unique approach to family counseling, substance use disorder outpatient treatment/prevention, and court-ordered services. Counselors adapt treatment to each family and take a holistic approach to ensure we care for the whole person and family.

Our staff is a team of experienced, licensed, professional counselors and social workers in full-time private practice. We provide support for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families during times of stress, crisis, and transition. D'Amico and Associates in Counseling staff utilize many of the following therapeutic approaches and counseling theories.
Terry is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and has been providing services in the suburban Chicago area for over 20 years as a therapist, mediator, coach, advocate, and expert witness. She received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from DePaul University in 1980 and her Master of Arts in Counseling from Governors State University in 1988.
Karla has her masters degree in health sciences with a concentration in addiction studies from Governors State University. She received her bachelors of arts from Chicago State University. Karla studied for a year at the University of Chicago as a visiting student. She specializes in addiction, with a focus on women's issues and empowering women.
Kristin is a Marriage, Couples, and Family counselor that works to understand individuals, couples, and families through a combination of person-centered and systemic narrative lenses. She has a passion for using experiential, trauma-informed approaches to meet clients where they are and partnering with them on their personal journeys of growth within themselves and in their relationships with others.
Marram is a Marriage, Family, and Couples counselor. As your therapist, her goal is to provide you with a safe and supportive environment for self-improvement. Her therapeutic approach is empathetic and empowering along with various methods and techniques to meet your needs while maintaining a solution - focused approach.
