Josh was extremely personable and easy to work with! He gave us direction and recommendations on music and flow of our ceremony and beyond. He was invested in getting to know our music interest. During our dance he read the room and didn’t need song suggestions as he kept the music flowing to the audience liking. I would highly recommend Josh to anyone!

Josh was the most incredible DJ to work with! Of the dozens of DJs I've heard at weddings over the past decade, Josh was easily the best DJ I've ever experienced. He kept the dance floor full all night, had a great flow and transition from each song to the next, and provided a good variety of music. Throughout the night, the guests at our wedding kept coming up to me just to compliment us on our great DJ.

I cannot recommend Josh (Soulful Sounder) strongly enough.
Wedding DJs are a lot of money and he was worth every penny. His mic work was brief and to-the-point and always kept the focus on us the celebrators, not himself. We had a short meeting prior to the event in which he asked us our general musical tastes and he didn't even blink when my husband said he listened to a lot of 70's country and I was looking for some mid-2000s pop punk. A true professional.
Throughout the entire event, he correctly read the room and responded accordingly - background music when it was needed, a slow dance when

Josh was incredible to work with. He was super friendly and communicative in the lead up to the wedding, including creating a special mix for a specialized Mother-Son Dance. He was able to set the vibes for the day with us just explaining what we were looking for in a Facetime a couple days before. He did an awesome job with the sound during our ceremony, helping direct the crowd to social hour, announcing the start of dinner, introducing speeches, and keeping the vibes up all night, as well as keeping the dance floor busy. We had Soulfulsounder as the DJ for our wedding reception at Lakeside. We loved being able to customize things with the online planning form, and Josh was great at communicating with us. We had an idea for a college rivalry game, and Josh made it work perfectly! He is great at reading the room and selecting songs that fit the vibe.

We had the best experience with Josh, the owner of Soulfulsounder! He was personable, easy to work with and played some of the best music. He knew how to read the crowd and keep the celebration going! Our wedding guests won't stop talking about how awesome the DJ was! I would highly recommend Josh and am so grateful we chose his company to be a part of our special day. :)

I can not say enough great things about Josh! He DJ'd at our wedding on 5/29/2021. He is so personable, entertaining, and keeps the party going. Before the night was even over my now husband was trying to book him or our next big event. I have recommended him to everyone I know that is having a wedding in the near future.
