After graduating from the University of Kansas in 1993 with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Business Administration, Pat moved to the Kansas City area to pursue an accounting position with Arthur Andersen LLP. He received his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license in 1996, and then transitioned over the years into a variety of accounting and financial management roles at Kansas City Power & Light.
We provide tax planning services to both individual and business clients, which help to avoid unexpected tax liabilities by proactively addressing your tax situation with quarterly, mid-year, and/or year-end reviews. By forecasting your full-year taxable income, we can assist clients in determining their anticipated tax liabilities and making quarterly estimated tax payments, if necessary.
Get advice and assistance in resolving inquiries from the Internal Revenue Service or your state taxing authority about your individual or business tax and compliance issues. It is not uncommon for the IRS or your state taxing authority to mail letters to taxpayers to inform them of potential issues with a tax return or filing (most commonly marked as CP2000 series notices).

Email - we send a secure, encrypted email link, and you attach your tax documents in your reply email. Receive a pdf and/or paper copy of your tax return and electronically sign for filing after a final review of your taxes.

This is our second year using Pat for our taxes and I cannot recommend him enough. He communicates very well, is responsive to all emails and calls and is always able to squeeze us in to do our taxes. Don't waste your time with anyone else or some online software. 110% recommend Pat and will continue to use him! Oh, and Pat is so friendly! We love going to see him.

Pat has done my taxes for two years now. I could not be more happy with my experience. The process is so easy with him. I scan all of the necessary documents and email them to him so he has them quickly. When he has the outline done then he schedules a meeting and we go over everything and they are submitted and I don't have to worry about a thing! I would highly recommend his services.
