Working with Koch Indoor Weather means you really work with John and Callie. We're smaller than a lot of other HVAC companies so you will never get a computer or other third party answering your call. And because our name is on the door, we take extra pride in the service we provide and the experience you receive.
After working in HVAC and honing his skills, he started his own company in 1979. His specialties include boilers, heaters, air conditioners, and humidifiers. He has become so well known in his field that he is often referred to by other companies when they can't figure out an HVAC issue! Because John is a critical thinker and a problem solver, he is interested in fixing units to their full potential, not just quickly replacing them.

Services
Welcome to Koch Indoor Weather, where our customers become part of our extended family! We provide honest, professional HVAC services in the McHenry and Lake County area, and we've been doing it since 1979. When you call Koch, you reach a live person, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We don't outsource our customer service, and we have the best team around to get your HVAC job done as quickly as possible.
An air conditioner's filters, coils, and fins require regular maintenance for the unit to function effectively and efficiently throughout its years of service. Neglecting necessary maintenance ensures a steady decline in air conditioning performance while energy use steadily increases. For example, replacing a dirty, clogged filter with a clean one can lower your air conditioner's energy consumption by 5% to 15%.
At Koch Indoor Weather, our experienced and highly trained HVAC technicians can service a wide range of furnace makes and models anywhere in McHenry and Lake Counties. We'll inspect your furnace and controls to diagnose for any potential problems. In most cases, we can fix any problem during the same visit.

They had supposedly "fixed" our AC but it only lasted for two hours.Even then they had charged us almost $400. After it stopped working we had called back and thier response was that they had left it working ;and it stopped working because the AC unit was old and it needed to be replaced. We didn't believe we needed a new AC unit so we had called a new company.Once they came and checked it they told us that the AC was wired incorrectly which had caused it to stop working so quickly. So they fixed without having to buy a new AC unit.
