It seemed so simple. Memorial Weekend kickoff for the summer. Go sailing. The skies were clear, it was 93 degrees F, with a steady breeze. Great wind for novice sailors. Life jackets on and zipped up, my fellow student and I gleefully took to the water and practiced both tiller (steering for those non-sailor types), and pulling sheets (ropes) that run the jib (front) sail.
Whether we live in a house Kansas City, an apartment in way out in the suburbs, or temporarily live in a tent at a boy scout camp, sometimes we do something simple (like rolling over in bed) and POW all of the sudden we have back pain. Or we 'slept funny' and Zap our neck really hurts. How can it be?
The story is practically writing itself. My fingers are flying across the keyboard. Empty coffee cup, an apple core on a napkin, and remnants of my bowl of potato soup litter the table. But I am hunched over my table in suburban Kansas City, as I have been for hours trying to get this thought train down on 'paper' before it evaporates.
Whether you work as working a butcher, a baker, or a candlestick maker, if you are having Carpal Tunnel symptoms, you have probably tried over counter pain relievers (like ibuprofen), with only temporary relief. You are here, hoping for answers. Anything that will help you resolve the numbness in your hand(s).
